Ayla has used Deniz whenever it suited her in the past. He won't believe her now and thinks she wants to hurt him or is jealous. Even if she tells the truth. He has seemingly fallen in love with the gentle nurturing nature of Nazli and becomes obsessed with her.

I read this comment but wonder do you think this response helped him with his insecurity concerning her relationship with Deniz? To me he seem to be unsure and for a man like Ferit to be in a position is very difficult. Nazli’s reaction and responses to Deniz can also be very misleading.

He's just confused of why she run away from him..because he knows she likes him from the way they're kissing, because she kissed him back too and Ferit analised every gesture of her. And then Alya's words reassured him that Nazli never likes deniz as lover only friend.

What? I mean I don't like deniz's behaviour either but it's perfectly normal to not reciprocate someone's feelings for you no matter how honest their feelings for you are. He dated her, they were always in an on again off again unstable relationship and eventually he lost interest in her. By the time he met Nazli he was already done with Alya, and I do believe he was attracted to Nazli because of her personality, in their first meeting itself he noticed her because he heard the story she told Fatos about Hachiko, that did not look lustful to me I think he liked the depth of her personality and her sweetness. I don't like how he treated Alya he was a bit too harsh on her but Alya too needs to give up on this guy and move on to someone who is attracted to her, publicly confessing your feelings to a guy who has clearly told you they don't like you is a bit desperate and provoking. Nazli and Deniz have things in common, they are grounded, they like simple things, they are both friendly, like animals and children a lot, they had deep conversations etc which probably made him fall for her. The issue was that she loves Ferit and Deniz became delusional and pathetic because like you said he's not very emotionally mature so he couldn't handle the truth. But I don't think it was a casual attraction I think he genuinely loved her & liked the calmness she brought to his life, she's very marriage material. Deniz and Alya by the looks of it never really had an emotionally strong relationship they were more like friends who slept together, so even if she's caring and loved him I don't think he connected with her which is probably why they broke up often. Both Alya and Deniz needed to move on, deniz from nazli and alya from deniz. He is anyway immature and got some growing up to do.

Sorry to burst your bubble but it very clearly states in the first episode that Ayla dumped him after 2 months in Mexico. She then got him back then dumped him again. She kept doing this for over4 years as is stated later in this episode. Whenever she got bored she would leave. Finally Deniz gets fed up with supporting her and loving her as he finally realizes that she delights in torturing him and tells her no more.

In the first episode, it is revealed that he took her to Mexico and she dumps him for another guy after only 2 months. She kept breaking up, going back then breaking up with him. Every time she broke up with him and it did not work out with the new guy, she would run back to him. She was poor, he was rich and he paid her way. He helped her with her band. He paid for and gave her a life style she couldn't provide for herself. So, basically she kept going back to him for his money. When he finally gets it, that she doesn't love him, he breaks up with her but forgives her at the same time. The fact that he buys the night club only for her sake so she has a venue for her band is proof that he is more than a decent guy.
