I never realized this until now. When Marcus is walking away from Dom and hears a gunshot, he stops for a second. He stops because he’s waiting to hear if Dom is going to shoot himself. Shit man.

Gamestop at release night and taking the whole week off work for this game. It was so worth it mowing down the locusts with my brother and friends online all week long. Nothing but cold beer stong smoke and lots of batteries.

A lot of it didnt make sense as a kid but its even more messed up when you realize maria looked normal at first bc dom was imagining it but when he came back to reality he was holding a corpse

you know, with the benefit of hindsight, Myrrah in the intro is still right with Humanity bringing the Locust upon them: even if they weren't made in a lab, her lover did steal away their daughter Raina; many would use that as a justifiable reason to go to war. Hell, it's what started the Trojan War

I’m pretty sure it’s meant to represent the pendulum wars as it was Cog vs UIR where they used the retros (going off of what myrahh was saying at the time of the cutscene) “humanity fought an endless war against itself”
