Haji Goro is a day laborer living in Nishinari, Osaka. He is a strong man who is relied upon by everyone, but he is also known as ""Goro the Murderer"" because of his past imprisonment for murder. He has lost his memory in fragments, but he gradually regains his memories of being a former agent of a government intelligence agency and of having a wife and daughter. One day, Goro learns of his family's current situation and makes a firm decision. He decides that he will do whatever it takes to earn 400 million yen for his only daughter, who is suffering from an incurable disease that requires a heart transplant. This is an original film directed by Yudai Kaminishi, the director of ""Hitokurazu"" (winner of the 2020 Grand Prix and Best Actor Award at the London International Film Festival, and many other awards), which created a storm of emotion at film festivals around the world. The film depicts the life of a man who desperately tries to earn a large sum of money, based on the dark world that is cesspooling in modern society and the power of human emotions. At the same time, the film is structured in such a way that the amount of money and savings of each character reveals his or her lifestyle and economic outlook, creating a new type of money crime entertainment that allows viewers to experience real human drama. This film, ""Goro’s 400 Million Yen-The Death Game-,"" is the second part of ""Goro’s 400 Million Yen-The Death Game-,"" which can be considered the first part, and finally brings back all of Goro's memories. The main character Goro is played by Kaminishi himself, and the main cast includes a diverse group of actors. Goro (Yudai Kaminishi), rooted in Nishinari, spends his days working day laborers and doing black market work to make 400 million yen. As his memory gradually recovers, he remembers that it was Golgotha (Masaya Kato) who caused it. The Ten Kings, a secret society that lives in the underworld under the guise of a religious organization, is based in a certain church、in which Golgotha is the head assassin. Under the leadership of the top executive, Mario Hyakki (Hoka Kinoshita), Golgotha is disposing of anyone who gets in his way. Matsuko (Mika Tokutake) and Umeko (Ai Furukawa), two black-money sisters who have formed a bond with Goro, are fighting with gangsters for Nishinari's rights, but are protected by Woo Song Koo (Renji Ishibashi), chairman of the Korean Shin Liu Association, who is backing the sisters. Matsuko gradually feels sympathy for Goro and asks him to become her bouncer. One day, a new type of virus spreads throughout the world. Nishinari's friends were also infected with the virus and fell ill. Koji Kanemoto (Takashi Sasano), a.k.a. Kaneyan, whom Goro had trusted, is also affected by the virus. Kaneyan had just sold his eyes and kidneys to get money to live with his son in the near future. The news comes out that Goro is the one who intentionally brought this virus from outside the country. In fact, it was a hoax report that was spread by his old colleague, Hinata Makoto (Tsuda Kanji) of Humint, who was in cahoots with Golgotha and his colleagues, and who was pulling strings behind the scenes.
