This came in the other day for a full refurb, and it's certainly in need of that! This utterly handing DC25 is hanging on in there, does it physically work enough to be worth a refurb?

I had a red dc25 in for refurb in a similar condition, after a refurb, a new flex and a new set of filters it turned out great!

hahaha - funny what people do... I had a little James for all the time I spent doing up my inner city mid tearrace cottage, built in 1911. It sure had its share of rubble, brick dust and lord-know-what-else travel up its hose !! I kept it clean and eventually gave it away to a pal last year, still going strong 🙂

Now that's one beaten up dc25 - I don't like that model but it doesn't deserve the abuse that one's had!sold an up24 to someone yesterday who said it was for DIY and I told him if it kills it its no comeback on me!!!!!not a good idea to use it for that!!!! Tha ks for the video Sam!

Do you recommend Dyson Cinetic DC75? I have non-cinetic DC51 now, but think about upgrade. Is it worth it? 🤔

Awesome, thanks! This era is when I wasn't paying attention to what was being sold and only got into them after they were old 😂 Always learning which specific colour means what/was sold where! Filmed a small repair on a black Argos dc07 earlier 👌)

Crikey, do people always use their bag less vac for building works 🤦‍♂️ use a Henry or similar, I remember a DC40 mk2 I fixed last year, the motor was done for and it’s internal hose and switch over pipes were split, new motor and pipes it lived on 😝
