ALL ALGS WITH LINK TO CASE 👉 www.cube.academy/oll-algs 📌 TIMESTAMPS AND QUESTIONS 0:18 Cross 2:40 T 3:11 Block 4:03 Edges Only 4:40 Lightning 6:53 P 8:12 C 9:15 Fish 10:43 W 11:27 Hook 13:32 Line 15:16 L 16:41 Awkward 18:19 Dot ⁉ In what order should I learn the cases? The video is roughly structured from easy to more difficult, so you can definitely go in order of the video. However after learning Cross cases + T cases, you could first learn these really easy cases: 6:55 F (inverse sexy) F’ 8:16 C shape, easy alg 9:20 Just Hedge + Insert 10:47 Sune but inserting pair with sledge 11:31 F (Double sexy) F’ 13:33 f (double sexy) f’ ⁉Why did you choose these algorithms? Most of these are just the standard alg, and known to be the best and/or most reliable alg. For some cases, where there were more great options, I looked at what the best of the world would most often use and decide what alg would be most reliable, since a potentially faster alg doesn’t mean that it is better on average. ⁉ Are these the BEST finger tricks? The finger tricks I showed in this video are GREAT. However, what execution works for you is subjective and some alternate executions might work better for you. If you want to know more about finger tricks, check this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KWe4SNIMtrg.html ⁉ For [x] OLL you can save a regrip or overworking by doing [this] !! Sure, do that if that works for you :) I’ve tried a lot of different algs and executions, I ended up choosing a balance of what’s fast and most reliable. ⁉What cube did you use for this video? bit.ly/gan11m
I initially learned OLL with your PDF "How to learn OLL in One Month". This is a really good alg selection with some nice "updates", like Jay's fancy alg for the sh*tty C-shape and a few for alternative angles from my main alg. And yes, I did get used to the fingertricks.... most of the time.
Great timing! Recently dusted off my old set of V-Cubes and random Rubik's collection and quickly discovered how much cubing has advanced in the last decade. After a couple of slightly excessive orders from The Cubicle, I've got a nice little set of GAN and MoYu cubes that put all of my old cubes to shame. The GAN 12 ui combined with Cubeast is an especially mind-blowing experience, but even the base version of the MoYu RS3 M V5 that was thrown in as a freebie is really nice to practice with. Over about a month and a half, I've managed to get my times from a few minutes using the old layer-by-layer approach I learned as a wee lad, to just under a minute consistently thanks to your and J-Perm's tutorials. I got a lucky scramble with multiple skips that got me a 38 second personal best, but I'm still trying to nail down 2-Look OLL/PLL to get to sub-30. Once I'm ready to move on to the next stage of cube enlightenment and learn full OLL and PLL, I will definitely be revisiting this video often. Thanks for putting this together!
Most of these algs are super easy to learn and fun to do due to the fingertricks. Great video. I knew 2 look oll and some other easy algs before watching this and learnt 17 new algs today 3 fish shapes, w shapes, c shapes, 1 L shape, 1 I shape, all the lightning bolts apart from one that I already knew 2 p shapes and one hook shape. Let's see how many I can still remember tomorrow.
Thank you I was taught some algorithms that are just not as fast as these, and now I'm having to relearn almost all of OLL with different algs. I know that I will get faster times for sure because even doing some of these slowly, I am still doing the OLL faster than I was before. I can't do any advanced finger tricks right now with the cube I have, but I'll definitely get a new cube soon.
FINALLY! I have literally been waiting for you to do this. I used your pdf + jperms videos but there are some cases where I prefer your algs to his and I was struggling with proper finger tricks especially for some left handed algs.
so.. honestly when I searched for full oll algs on youtube I didn't find something .....like interesting to learn but thanks ; u did ur best in teaching all the algs .good luck Milan its hussien diab ☺☺
I was waiting for this! I haven't learn full Oll yet, cause a lot of oll cases the algs aren't fitting my style, but your algs so sweet! My times are going to have a HUGE change thanks to this video!
Thanks to cubehead for this amazing tutorial, i just started learning oll couldnt learn algorithms because of lack of explaination in other videos, but as i watched this vid i learned 33 olls in 2 days only ofc ill get better at them as time goes on but thanks to cubehead for this amazing experience, and i hope i complete my oll soon!
For me, OLL is the hardest step for me because there are 57 cases and it's very hard to memorize all the cases and the tricky algorithms in OLL. Thank you CubeHead for this video😊😊! Because it will help for me to build OLL is one step and to be sub 30 in rubik's cube. You're the best CubeHead!😊😊
Milan, for the C case the best alg is R U R2 U' R' F R U R U' F' home grip R U R2 U' Regrip R' F R U R U' F' and do the last F' with your right ring finger.
Hi I am vishres from India I am already sub 15 sec in 3x3 and my best is 10.898 sec but without full oll, that's why I am learning now the full oll and i learnt 25 oll in 1 Day which is a big fear out and I am now getting 14 sec solves 7 per 10.... And i am actuall 13 years old and cubing for 1.5 years , i am fast this much because of you,Thank you please if you can reply me it will motivate me...
nice job! mostly good algs here lightning shape 4: i prefer S R’ U’ R U’ R’ U2’ R U2 S’ but that alg is also pretty good C shape 2: i prefer the standard alg R U R2’ U’ R’ F R U R U’ F’ because i can’t do that alg consistently, but some people will probably be faster with that alg fish shape 3: an alternative is R U2’ R’ U S’ R U’ R’ S hook shape 4: good alg but i prefer the inverse since it’s regripless line shape 4: even though my tps is much lower on R U2’ R2’ U’ R U’ R’ U2’ F R F’, i can still do it faster because of how low the movecount is awkward shape 2: i think r’ D’ r U’ r’ D r2 U’ r’ U r U r’ is better because a really high tps is achievable with this awkward shape 3: i think S U’ R’ F’ U’ F U R S’ is better because of much lower movecount awkward shape 4: i think S’ F R U R’ U’ F’ U S is better because the F2 u’ might be a bit inconsistent and i think it is easy to mess up dot shape 2: a better way to fingertrick the alg would be to do the f with a left index push, then inverse sexy as normal, then left index does the S’, another normal inverse sexy, and then a right thumb F’ dot shape 5: i think S’ F R U’ R’ S R U2 R’ U’ F’ is better because of much lower movecount dot shape 6&7: i think those algs are a bit easy to mess up and i can’t turn very fast with the F move in the middle, so i use R’ F R F’ U’ S R’ U’ R U R S’ and f U R U’ R’ S’ R’ F’ R U R U’ R’
Really interesting video! Even though I know all OLL cases except the dot ones I still learns some new things. You had some algs that I don’t use but they seem interesting so I might switch. I will also 100% learn the dot cases from this video
Great video Milan! I have one question regarding one of the hook olls, or the front squeezy as you call it. Is it good to just do the U' by pushing it with your left index finger instead of the different fingertricks you showed?
2:09 the alg, I use my own alg. It is the end of an E perm. X’ R U R’ D R U’ R’ D’ Edit:Face the corners you want to solve Edit2:I learnt my OLLs in the “Learn all the OLL algs in a month”.Honestly da algs for this one is so much dam better. Edit3:I like your angle of this alg tho
Since this is the internet I feel obligated to criticize something. It's OLLs not OLL's. Other than that Cube heads videos have gotten calmer and thus better in the last year, so I don't have to live in constant fear of having a seizure wenn one these videos pops up in my feed. Thanks for that.
