We need more fulls! Also, historical full onboards would be great.

A nice flowing SS, even if the two artificial chicane-like detours unnecessarily kill momentum. Any artificial-created methods for slowing down are a bit too gimmicky for rallying, although I understand the motive behind them in high-paced rallies. Ironically, Lankamaa's highest average SS speed was some 143 km/h (the fastest six times on the first round all surpassed 140) & that got achieved without any artificially-created chicanes or similar features, so in theory, Myhinpää should've been equally okay without them.

depends, cuz I suspect those chicanes are placed before specific spots that would be dangerous at full speed instead of just at random spots

@@Cousinouf Yes, but whether those same spots would be more dangerous with current-generation cars than those in 2009, '10, '14, & '15 is debatable. Yes, the respective top-level cars in those years were outright slower, meaning they didn't approach those portions as fast, but not necessarily massively slower. Anyway, good flow with or without, although I still somewhat hope that Myhinpää wouldn't get further use in competitive running until that happens without artificial stuff.

@@Cousinoufeven if not for safety a chicane is part of driving: easier to just keep straight, but to endure the braking and the acceleration creates more difficulty for the driver and the machine. This is not Le Mans, and even then drivers used the long straight to doze off a bit and rest 😅

It could be at that spot to prevent the not-so-pro drivers from rolling onto someones yard and hitting the house at 143km/h. There is a nasty curve if going too fast. Nothing dangerous if it was only field behind it, but I wouldn't want a car in my living room spilling oil and radiator fluids on my cat's litter box😂

Its the only spot with a back seat driver telling you what to do all the time.

Congrats to Sami and Enni, but I was a bit confused as to why Oliver wasn't at least recognized as the winner in the Rally 2 class. I get that he wasn't taking points, but he still out-performed them all and was the fastest. Podium and trophy should still be in order, just no points.

It looks like they get trophy in wrc2 classification Before that i didn't know that its possible to drive wrc rally in r5 without being classificated in wrc2

Drivers adjust their pace based on rivals around them, WRC2 drivers didnt care about Oliver in this rally, so Sami had no reason to keep up with him.

precise driving. maybe lack of agressiveness in weight transition

I can’t even read when others drive 😅 WRC Rally has been the only sport ever where women can compete as equals to men... kind of, only once saw a woman actually do this (Michele Mouton) Shame rally is not fashion enough for more women of other nationalities to be involved...
