I am BIMer from China, thank you very much for your explanation of the creation of electrical engineering in Revit, which is a great benefit to me. I hope that your channel will become better and better, and you can produce more teaching and explaining videos about the mechanical and electrical design of Revit, because this is very important for us who are still in the initial stage, thank you.
Thanks for watching, and I appreciate the comment! You bring up a great point - many are still in the initial stage of learning Revit, even though it has been around for quite a while now. I hope you continue to find this channel helpful, and yes, I am adding more videos most every week. Cheers!
Thank you for watching. The architect's link is theirs, so I'm afraid I cannot share it. However Autodesk.com does contain sample projects that you can download and practice with.
Thanks for watching! I have a video about creating a custom single-phase panelboard family and how the panel schedule relates to it here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7SpdwwS6RNA.html
Thanks for the feedback! Can you explain a bit more about what type of tutorial you are looking for? Do you mean one about how to create electrical details (i.e. pole foundation, trench section, etc?). Or perhaps a more detailed tutorial about some other process? I have many videos on my channel about specific tasks, such as modeling receptacles and lights - perhaps take a look at this playlist ru-vid.com/group/PLkXVtBx7qEyxqV2OFtU2Xlh-2BbvN3Z8I. Cheers!
I am using REVIT as beginner and i am an italian electrical system designer: Your channel is what i was looking for, and i would want to follow it entirely. So, can you tell me which is the sequence of your video you reccomend me for listening? Thank you very much
Welcome to the channel. I'm so glad it is helpful for you, even over in Italy. I have a playlist for beginners located here ru-vid.com/group/PLkXVtBx7qEyxqV2OFtU2Xlh-2BbvN3Z8I. I am also working on a new updated full project start-to-finish guide that should be out soon. Cheers!
The architect created the building model and the electrical engineer/ designer added the electrical model elements such as the panels lights receptacles and circuiting.
Hey there! Welcome to electrical design! My videos so far are really for helping experienced designers learn how to utilize Revit for their electrical practice - not really teaching engineering fundamentals. I may lean more into the "design" genre in the future if there is enough demand. But thanks for asking!
@@ElectricRob If you have the time Sir, please do! It will help us a lot beginner designers. Thank you for the videos it was really helpful for me. Hoping for the "design" contents in the future!!
The files used in this overview video are proprietary, so can't be shared, but there are some great sample files on the Autodesk site that are free to download. Some of my more recent videos are using the architectural model at this link revit.downloads.autodesk.com/download/2024RVT_RTM/Docs/InProd/racadvancedsampleproject.rvt
@@ElectricRob Hello Rob! I'm your new follower. This file is opening in revit 2023. Can you please Share another electrical model which i can open in revit 2023. please...........
@ahmed1257 thanks for the subscription! Autodesk has an MEP sample model on their help website for revit 2023 - try here help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2023/ENU/?guid=GUID-61EF2F22-3A1F-4317-B925-1E85F138BE88. Cheers!
