What is so special about Revit for electrical design of buildings? This is an introductory overview (unedited!) of an actual project that was actually built - what a Revit project in the electrical engineering discipline looks like, intended for those with no Revit experience, with some comparisons and contrasts to AutoCAD. Thanks for the feedback! Can you explain a bit more about what type of tutorial you are looking for? Do you mean one about how to create electrical details (i.e. pole foundation, trench section, etc?). Or perhaps a more detailed tutorial about some other process? Hey there! Welcome to electrical design! My videos so far are really for helping experienced designers learn how to utilize Revit for their electrical practice - not really teaching engineering fundamentals. I may lean more into the "design" genre in the future if there is enough demand. But thanks for asking!

The files used in this overview video are proprietary, so can't be shared, but there are some great sample files on the Autodesk site that are free to download.
