it's so funny how you make them run run and run again haha. Your sorc is by far the strongest I saw. I'm not a big fan of sorceress, but I have to admit your build looks crazy fun.

I'm using your build with minor modifications for pvp and nm dungeons as well, it is decent, better for pvp I think, but I'm from ps5 with roller and the teleporting things a bit harder :D Is it possible to reduce the cd of the UC? Are there any skill combination or something? The 40sec is too long..

Ahm on pve you can reduce the cooldown if you are going with Wizard's ball lightning its one of the passive for Ball Lightning and you can replace Vyr's Mastery with Overflowing energy also you should put a point on Unstable Current's last passive . These should solve your issue with cooldown . To get these extra 2 skill points for these you can just take points from chain lightning . For pvp 40 seconds cd on UC is okay i think bc when you kill an enemy your cooldowns reducing with 10 seconds if you fail to finish someone off then just back up kite a bit then try it again . ❤

Good to see a fellow light sorc. I think I might have killed you a couple times before. Kevinator is the best pvp sorc on the server 😂. I have a different setup than urs. I am full lightning ball without arc lash build. Even hota barbs fear me :)
Very interesting take, do you also use evade teleport? And does ball lightening zip counts as attack that reduce evade cd? I'm arc lash pvp player and dealt with top tier hota barb and poison rogue. I found the arc lash build has the most survivability (with maxed out gears, grants constant teleport), but I will try to theorycraft another one based on your description.
@@JackL-er9ym lightning ball also count as attack so it will reduce ur evade tele (if you have the right boots). The problem with arc lash build is that burst damage are tied to unstable currents (10 sec). However top tier pvp builds have very long unstoppable up-time. You will only have 3 sec out of 40 sec window to kill a top tier hota barb. If unstable currents are down, and you miss that window, you won't be able to kill a strongly geared barb. By switching to lighting ball build, you are less depended on unstable currents. Since lightning balls cost alot of mana but it also give you evade tele cd reduction (which you can chain into mob to recharge mana), you can get like 10-20 lightning balls even without unstable currents.
@@kelvinl.3816 Thanks! I used my infinite mana gear sets and tested it out, and it does buff my damage output overall. Regarding the evade teleport, it is only the casting speed that counts toward evade cd reduction (not zip), so it is slightly slower comparing to arc lash (talking about maxed out gear stats). The damage is definitely better, but the survivability take a slight hit. The extra damage does have an advantage against arc lash sorc.
Since your attack speed is that high and you don't need lucky hits, wouldn't you be better off with a 2 jewel staff? You could lose the cooldown reduction since you can always teleport away from people.

@@Justaguywithglassesok The damage from firewall sorc is insane and can get some easy kills, but it does not have the mobility when facing with top druid, rogue and barb players (or arc lash sorc). Here is how I check if it is a good pvp build or not. Can you become hatreds of chosen and then survive it? Arc lash sorc can do it numerous times. That is just my two cents, and @Zettsu can probably add more to it.
@@JackL-er9ym if the malignant powers are op enough i think the mobility issue will solve itself, but what is the mobility issue for firewall? cant you just spec enchant teleport with it? im not fully geared so im not at that stage yet where i can do pvp.
@@Justaguywithglassesok Technically, you can enchant teleport (left you with the firewall enchant for the other slot), but the synergy and speed is not there comparing with arc lash. The constant teleport relies on combination of max CDR, attack speed (basic attack speed on gears too), and that boot (attack reducing evade CD). The fire build also needs to worry about resource management on gears (may not prioritize basic attack speed), so your attack will not be fast enough to have constant teleport. Top caliber hota barb are crazy fast, and my sorc with maxed out gears just have enough window to escape during those chase (talking about imbalances here). But again, not many top barbs out there, so you can definitely play around with teleport enchant in fire builds, and if dev open up that third enchantment slot in the future, sorc will have way more build varieties.
