I have been following this practice routine for 10 days just for the hell of it and I have to say it is brilliant....staminawise. And very motivating because you can actually feel the improvements.
Dude, I finally understand why I think that you the best euphonium player in the world. You take so much time just on long tones, I'm gonna do these exercises every day for a couple years, and track my growth.
i feel weird responding to a 4 year old comment but who cares. i wouldn't say that matonis is the best player in the world, but certainly very good. in my opinion, the overall best player is probably glenn van looy, but the people that are also contenders for that spot are probably david childs and bastien baumet
Great video! Love the intro :-). Lots of great info. Keeping it simple and focusing on the instrument and what comes out of the bell rather than what's on the sheet music. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your help! I'll be sure to implicate this into my daily routine. And if you could, I've been having some trouble with lips slurs and i would really appreciate it if you were to make a video on it, going into depth on how to improve on controlling your air speed and lip control if you are able to. Thanks!
So focus, accuracy, efficiency, consistency, perseverance. Keep the tongue low in the mouth and out of the way. Okay my goal is to improve my tonguing to be crisper and improve flexibility. Cheers.
Do you think you could make a video about how to practice efficiently or how to be productive. Also maybe about good ways to stay posistive during practice/getting rid of practice room anxiety.
Are the .pdf for the exercises on your Patreon.com page? If so, I couldn't find them. If not, adding it would be an additional good motivator for people to become Patrons.
Hi John, yes, check the link below. Educational videos from Sep 17 2018 have downloadable pdf located on patreon. Soon we'll open a new membership platform that will make for more transparent use with ability to search easier. Hope this helps friend. Best, M www.patreon.com/Matonizz?filters[tag]=Educational
