Check out the full 2024 BITD Golden State 250 in California City, CA starting with my full lap (mile 100-160) followed by the start and first 42 miles of the race. Ended up 2nd Open Pro after 180 miles of racing on the 2024 Honda CRF450X.

Yes stock offset. We’re running a stock lower clamp and a GPR Stabilizer upper clamp with the stabilizer

Alright. I mean skill and experience play into how comfortable you are going that fast (straight line speed and stability) which is why I asked since the Honda is the one bike that isn’t really “known” for that trait. I say this because the over whelming majority of publications pretty much arrive at that. Good to see it’s really not a bike “problem” per say.

We are on a CRF450X which is quite different than the CRF450R/RX. The R/RX isn’t the most stable bike and does suffer a little bit from a lack of comfort in stock trim

Oh, okay. Valid point. To be fair, I didn’t look at the head tube angle between the standard R/RX compared to the X. I’m guessing stock wheelbase might be a bit longer too then. If overall the bike leans towards “longer and lower” then I can see why 5th or 6th gear wouldn’t feel so bad.
