@@timothykeith1367 It was a rhetorical question. I'm not so sure 100% tariffs will motivate companies to manufacture within the US to avoid them. Like the last batch, they pass costs onto the consumer and elicit a trade war with tariffs on US goods. I'm personally paying more and some items are in short supply. Anytime we tinker with prices it distorts supply and demand.

I cannot take this anymore. No one has shut down energy production. The US has been energy "independent" since the end of Trump's term and we still are. We are pumping more oil today than Trump ever did. Check it out for yourself. So, if gas prices are high, you have to ask yourself why. The oil market is much more complicated than simply pumping our own domestic oil for domestic use.
