Full Ramaswamy: GOP has to 'be the party of free speech and open debate’ 

Vivek Ramaswamy wasn't on my radar until he clowned the Lemon last week. Now I'm rooting for him for the nomination.

On the issue of gender, I totally support his views... and I'm not a republican

He's got my vote so far.

Ramaswamy schooled Chuck Todd on the trans issue. This guy can think on his feet. I'd like to see more of him.

I am very impressed by this guy! He definitely knows how to debate on principles and not back down.

He is confident and assertive in his views. • He is not “white”. In today’s America, when a white man expresses his opinions, Democrats often try to silence him by labeling him as a “white supremacist”.

His take on the transgender issues are spot on! I like when he said you can't even get a tattoo before you're 18 but we're letting them get genital mutilation.

I would have like to actually hear his reply in its entirety to the questions he was asked. Especially over the FBI question specifically he kept getting cut off and wasn't allowed to fully respond.

That’s a good point I didn’t even think about, so simple yet profound, we don’t allow children to get tattoos before 18, but puberty blockers and hormonal treatments are okay.

Vivek Ramashwamy is my favorite candidate of all. The transgeder issue is touchy and not something we can just waive off dismissively. What I don't understand is why you folks in the media are not even asking why there has been such an astonishing rise in gender dysphoria within such a short period of time. I think that is a very important question that ought to be dissected and deeply analyzed before we just embrace it as some normal phenomenon of human evolution because it certainly is not. We are constantly being told to "trust the science", even when the "science" turns out to be wrong or we have been blatantly lied to by politicians, scientists, and the media who often have agendas. A 5K percent increase in gender dysphoria withing the last dozen years or so is kind of concerning. Don't you think? If I were a parent of a gender dysphoric child, that is what I would want to know before I agreed to permanently alter his or her life with hormones and scalpals. Why? What is causing this? Is it something in the water, food, plastics, vaccines? Who knows? We ought to know before we begin mutilating children. Call me old fashioned, but my love for my children transcends politics, political correctness, politieness, or anything else. I am sure most parents feel the same way. This should not be a partisan issue. "What in the world is going on?" is a question that affects all of humankind regardless of political affiliation or identity.

This is the equivalent of Chuck getting pantsed. Love to see it. You go Vivek!

I have to agree, Vivek Ramaswamy is definitely a breath of fresh air. It's so refreshing to hear someone speaking their mind and addressing the real issues that we're all thinking about. Of course, some of his ideas might be a bit extreme - I mean, killing the FBI is definitely a bit much. But I do agree that there needs to be a focus on eliminating political bias from within the agency. Overall, I think Vivek is definitely a "Trump-lite" figure - he's not afraid to ruffle some feathers and speak his truth, even if it's not the most popular opinion. And in a world where we're so used to politicians spewing carefully crafted messages that are designed to appease everyone, it's incredibly refreshing to have someone who's not afraid to say what they really mean.

He is getting a lot of practice in taking questions from hostile interviewers. I can't wait to see how he responds to Trump's child-like attacks on the debate stage. Most of us are hungry for alternatives to the crap that the two parties are rolling out there. This guy seems like the real deal.

"There's a lot of scientific research out there that says gender is a spectrum." There is not. There are ideological _researchers_ who may say that, but the research itself plainly does not. The soft serve machine has chocolate and vanilla. You can mix the two flavors, but that is not a spectrum of flavors.
