I love to play killer it's way more fun then survivor atleast to me (however both are fun for different reasons) I just hate high ranks. I don't know if it's this bad on PC but on console as soon as you get to green ranks you literally only get SWF with insta heals, tool boxes and of course the ultimate sweaty try hard perks. I love to play as killer but I hate having to sweat my nuts off just to get a few kills. I can't experiment with new perks and killers in high ranks I just have to wait for rank reset

Well guess what? You're going to lose and no fun for you" if you try to play the game casually as Survivor, you going to get down quick and you're going to get killed quick, if you try to play killer casually, you're going to get gen rush to hell, you won't get any kills, and you're definitely going to be stressed out and have no fun, especially if you go up against Survivor with friends, where they have the bigger Advantage because they're on comms, tell me what can I do to have fun against that? Or any of all of that?

I've been a rank 1 killer and survivor and I find it kinda disappointing that you're still trying to say the game is unbalanced in favor of survivors. There are a few things that need tweaks but overall the game is balanced. I'm not sure what other nerfs you want survivors to get before you butcher them completely.
he's not saying the game is unbalanced... the game IS unbalanced, all these videos are proof... you gonna have low chance of success when going against pro survivors in high/red ranks, if you use M1 killers... why should the game be this way i.e. you have 16 killers in the roster, but only 2 (nurse and spirit) are viable at high/red ranks? BTW, IMO, the SWF group in this video were not pro-level survivors... they rely too much on broken items (key and instaheal), and comms... a pro survivor is someone unafraid of playing solo survivor at high/red ranks and dont rely on them broken items, thus got the experience to know exactly what to do against any killer....
The game balance is in a pretty decent state, better than it ever was before, but the SWF in itself will always be broken since they cant balance around it for it would fuck over all solo survivors.
They should start out by giving the killer a scaling movement and/ or action speed increase for each member in a SWF group, with a proportionally larger bonus if it's a 4 man. 2/3/5% as an example. Two two man groups would be 4% (add the 2% bonus). Could tweak numbers as the devs and community see fit. Just anything to help the killers be bullied a little less by the coordination.
Shawnzy No I never bring in keys. Most of the time I play recently I don’t bring in any items. I might bring in a flashlight but that’s about it. They’re useful in chase but flash saves are impossible to get against good killers because of how fast the pickup animation is and add ons don’t increase how fast the flashlight blinds the killer anymore. I feel like in terms of balance the game is in a good state, more than it ever has been. Certain perks and mechanics need nerfs/buffs but besides that, with dedicated servers the games health should be improving drastically. Dumb hits on both surv and killer shouldn’t be happening anymore especially in higher ping games which is a good thing because it’ll show how good the surv really is at looping and how good the killer is at antilooping.
Swf should be a totally different gamemode, this kind of games are totally unfair on so many levels. I only play killers now when i have dailys to complete but even tho as a rank 20 killer, I meet with these kind of teams trying to bully a rank 20 killer and im always like wtf, im barely able to kill without ruin and if I do have ruin, its normally an at least guarenteed 1 kill. 3 years and nothing much really changes and just more cosmetics and dlcs that just makes the game even more bugged. And I literally get scolded for being a 'tryhard' for trying to win the game lmfao. At rank 20, only thing I can say is that you lost to a rank 20 oof
This is why I love clown, he's one of the best killers for when you're just like "I'm not dealing with your bullshit." There's a couple places where he could have made a better anti-loop play with the bottles, but he definitely would have 4k'd if it wasn't for the key. Keys are a crutch anyway, and there's no shame in losing to them. Survivors using keys are admitting they can't escape without a handicap, because that's literally what it is, it lowers the amount of gens you have to complete.

Liam 8005 Flashlights don’t work against good killers. If the killer is actively looking for flashlight saves it’s impossible to get one. Flashlights aren’t good anymore. They can work once in a while on those same smart killers but for the most part 99% of the time they won’t work on those players. The pickup animation is too fast now. It should go back to 4.3 seconds
I have to ask what seems obvious to me, does Tru3 only play this game now for money? (streaming). As I cannot remember the last time he said he was having genuine fun with the game, the key word i'm hearing a lot is "stress". is it really worth it? Is the money that good?
It's a gamble. If you dont have ruin. Then u have a 5 min game. If they dont find it, then you have a proper chance. I kinda agree but without it, you just dont have enough time to do anything. If they can hit ruin skill checks, they can hit regular great ones making the game go by faster. Badly designed so it's just a matter of opinion
How does someone play this game as there main game sorry but I would find this game very tedious and repetitive pretty quickly just seems like the type of game you play with friends for fun every once in awhile not a game I would call competitive

You can’t have fun in this game because you end up with killers like him, just sweating all the time, but when the role is reversed and the survivors are sweating, they’re either toxic or he starts bitching about things in the game.
This sums up red ranks...1v1’s, STRESSFUL, and UNFUN TO PLAY. Gens go by too quick regardless of your performance and god forbid you use killers that you want to play as if it’s not Nurse, Billy, or Spirit.

notice how even outside of chases too they never heal because they just want to rush gens for adrenaline. Adrenaline is such a poorly designed perk and one of the biggest contributors to the no heal meta.
Dude you’re not entitled to a 4k. Them escaping using a key doesn’t make it a “bullsh*t” mechanic. Maybe if you had actually outplayed them and prevented them from doing so many generators that escape wouldn’t have been possible.
And 4 man SWF with coms, flashlights, insta heals, tool boxes etc, being a loop and such, doing so much work just for them to find the hatch a have a free escape or last one left and you find the hatch only for RNG to be bullshit and they find a key in a chest or they already have a key and can just escape either way, does not seem like a problem with you?

why do killers complain about components of the game so much when they're there for a reason. perks, items, offerings.. they're obtainable so why wouldn't survivors use them. then when these emotional killers play survivor, they use the same shit but now it's fitting

He isn’t asking for better anti looping, he’s asking for better gen pressure. Also, he doesn’t “run as fast as any other killer”. Billy has gen pressure because of mobility. Same with Nurse and Spirit.

In overwatch, when you get a high rank, you can't play a party full, you can't get all your team with you friends, it's only like 1 friend, I think that could break how strong SWF in dead by daylight is right know, only permit a SWF with 1 friend. ( But only in Red ranks, all the others ranks you can play 4 SWF. )

The same goes for Dbd mobile. SWF and toxic Claudette are the only things that exist in rank 1. I main Ghostface which is a pretty bad killer so it can be quite stressful. At least some matches with SWF I brought a mori.
They should honestly just make key a rare item you only find in chest, only one person can use, and it gets destroyed after the match no matter what (used or not) Its just a pointless mechanic to give people a free out for no reason. Even as a fellow survivor, your teammate is straight trash at doing gens or farming people off the hook but they get the free out and you die, or a match where killer should clearly wipe a team but guess what, one of em has a key so there was really no point in trying in the first place I guess. It would also make that one ace perk more useful for getting keys to escape instead of just looting for good items.
Love the Clown game play, so relate to these kinds of insane matches, felt tilted just watching it. Also been ripped off by keys a lot too but that is okay because survivors don't have enough 2nd or 3rd chances to get free escapes no matter how poorly they played. Hell, they can still get a free escape even if they've done no gens and the rest of the team obviously failed hard. But that's totally fair as survivors deserve free escapes... right?
I’m sick of all the people saying buff this buff that, gen pressure survivor loops need a nerf. Shut up honestly, I’m sorry but you aren’t good at the game if you think there needs to be major buffs to killers or major nerfs to survivors. People are just extremely opinionated on certain things in this community whether it being killer or survivor, it all depends on who they play. Any good player will know that the game is actually quite well done (apart from the hit boxes) and that you will always either get a good survivor game or a good killer game, it honestly just depends on how great the players skill level is. Yes I agree there are some killers that may need buffs or nerfs and some survivor items/ perks that may need buffs or nerfs. But don’t go around saying what needs to happen, when you clearly don’t know well the game has been put together. It could be worse ya know.
well said, the only thing that needs to be balanced in my opinion is nurse , as you can see you can get atleast 2 sur down or 4 even without nurse. nurse is for someone who don't have good skill with other killers or dont wanna chase sur or mind game. but just want easy wins. or make it in such way that you cant play nurse with solo queue cause thats really pain in ass.. , thats why i dont play this game like how i used to play . cause i am good sur, get to rank 1 and solo queueing sucks
MeeSush yes I have to agree nurse needs to have something done, although I feel like it doesn’t matter. Because if we’re talking about the majority of nurses it’s quite hard and it takes a while for a player to get skilled at her. It’s unfortunate cause they can’t really change her without a lot of backlash or people taking advantage of the changes. It’s a difficult thing to discuss but I guess we just have to focus on the other things in dbd.
I know how it feels Tru3, just yesterday I played a dominating game against a well coordinated SWF. I was Ghostface. The match was going my way but a fucking purple key ruined it and gave me an entity displeased. I was so frustrated even though It's really hard for a video game to frustrate me that much but how is it fair that you can do a pretty good job (so far) with a killer then still lose because of an item. How is an item stronger than a killer, I would want an explanation BHVR.

They should make a ranked mode, where overpowered red addons, items and offerings are banned, aswell as map offerings maybe? Idk, it would make the game more fun to play competitively but I'm not sure about the effects it would have on queue times and what not.
I'm just saying bcoz whenever my game became 2vs1 after 2 survivors died then there is hatch spawn. That's the reason any other yt channels or streamers said "OK 2 gens done that's mean 1 of us probably escaped by the hatch" or maybe it's new update , idk
Hatch should have a different mechanic. 1 key shouldnt be able to free everyone at all. It should free 1 or 2 people, then it closes. If the other 2 or 3 survivors want to escape thru hatch as well, then get ur own key to escape either by urself or with the other survivor. If u guys hate keys, run franklins and/or a mori. Dont waste ur moris on solo survivors. I usually end up with a 1k or 2k cuz of keys. The way hatch works now is ridiculous
Playing killer is pretty damn stressful. On another note: I just killed off all four survivors with clown (not easy) but any idea what's up with the ranking algorithms? I killed all 4 and then got 0 advancement on rank progress.. seriously,wtf?

Keys shouldn't exist. They're an easy way out even if the survivors are complete trash. The killer has nothing even close to it, because a guaranteed win on killer would "ruin the game" but on survivor, it's perfectly fine and balanced.
