Uconn is the perfect example of a team having it all from perimeter scoring, defense. Interior scoring and defense. Rim protector, length, coaching and 3pt scoring. Not a weakness
UConn's weakness is outside shooting. They missed plenty of shots today, but Alabama is a low IQ team that turns the ball over too much and couldn't capitalize.

UCONN fan here, I don't look down on anyone. Have incredible respect for all the teams we've played, especially Alabama, they came into this game and absolutely looked like monsters on the court, I was in shock that UCONN took their best punches and we were still on top. Go Huskies!

If Braden decides to show up then Purdue may have a chance. UCONN is a heady team and NC State gave UCONN a plan which UCONN can execute better against Purdue. Its going to be a big man's game .. power vs speed.. and its outcome may have ramifications in the NBA draft order this summer. IMO Purdue has a slight advantage in the paint but advantage UCONN in guard play. Braden needs to step it up his multiple mid court mis-steps were amateur.
I really hope so. I especially want Purdue to win because I hate Dan Hurley and want him to be humbled. He's turning into Bobby Knight Jr, and he even threatened a fan this season.

But this is one game, and Purdue playing at the top of its game could certainly beat a lackluster effort by UConn. I think UConn -6 or 7 pts. is about right.

Purdue could not beat that Northwestern team that Uconn smacked. Purdue has terrible guard play, Alabama put up more of a fight than Purdue will put up....Purdue is not that good, and 63 points against Uconn they will lose by 20 points, GO HUSKIES!

NC State looked very much like an 11 seed. Very disappointing. Burns looked out of shape and out-classed. UCONN is just a machine. Should be a classic on Monday.

15:30 - Glad to see someone else take note. Because of their superior physical conditioning and depth, this UCONN team never was tired and always fresh. If you weren’t up by 10+ at the half, you probably had no chance of beating them given they were going to tired you out and take over at some point in the 2nd half.

If you play a great game and the other team is off, you don’t lose by double digits unless that team is just so much better than you.

I'd stay far away from betting on this. Logic says UConn due to superior athleticism and the refs letting the Huskies' get away with physical play throughout the tournament, but if Purdue's hitting 3's, it could go down to the wire. There's a lot of money locked up on UConn from pre-tournament future bets. On the women's side, I would confidently take Iowa money line. The Lady Hawkeyes are America's team and have that special aura about them. They are a higher basketball IQ team with better chemistry and the best player in the sport. The only thing working in South Carolina's favor is a win-loss record.
I hope that people don’t follow you. Iowa has a 6’7” problem that they have no answer for. UCONN provided the blueprint on how to limit Clark and the Huskies were only seven deep. SC has the depth to keep fresh legs on Clark all night preventing her from getting to her spots. SC is going to curb stomp Iowa and it will be a huge letdown for all of the bandwagon jumpers.

Purdue is the second best in 3 pt. percentage this year. Uconn is 62. Purdue has not even shot 3 pointers very well in this tourney yet and they are due for a great 3 pt. game. Uconn might have problems. Plus Uconn has not had a tough season, the Big East was softer than the Big 10 and the Big 10 overall was not very good either but better than them, but better than the Big East. Purdue has had better strength of schedule. On Kenpom, Purdue is no. 2 in strength of schedule rating. Uconn is no. 20 rated for that. Go Boilers!!
