Yes its a win, but the team looked weird giving the ball away so easily and chasing the ball for lapses of the game, had it not been for pulisics brilliant strike and that assist that game would have ended 0-0 and thats something they should be concearned about.

Definitely need more non-americans on the panel. Ale's takes were pretty spot on. It's hard to judge how good Pulisic played, but one thing can be sure, he's playing confident, which is definitely good. So many times in the past he was stranded on the wing but it was good to see him moving around more. Now, the question will be whether or not that movement will be exposed against better teams. And I also agree with his assessment of the team. Was it an excellent performance, no, was it professional, I'd say so outside of a 20 or so minutes stretch in the middle of the first half. Last year Bolivia lost 3-0 to both Uruguay and Argentina, would one more goal have made us fell THAT much better?
Ale Moreno is mediocre, with his analysis pretty much limited to the obvious, no real insight whatsoever. Ali Krieger shouldn’t be there, her commentary is completely irrelevant, vapid, boring, and she lacks conviction and confidence. Sebi is a fairly decent host. Kacey Keller was an amazing goalie during his prime, but as a commentator he’s just ok, better than Moreno but not super great insight. Hercules Gomez seems to be repeating what he’s learned from Filipo Silva of Tactical Manager TV and Pete Douthit of 11 Yanks.
Pepi couldn’t have been more inept in front of goal today, but to Ale’s point, Bolivia was pretty awful all around, so it ended up being an non issue…however, better opposition are coming
My worry was Chris Richards playing horrendously in the passing game, Scally, Musah and McKennie all had to bail him out. Pepi should’ve scored, but the US was coasting through the last 15 minutes.

Reality: The US played one of the weakest teams in the tournament. Sure score says 2-0 but we actually didn't play that well. Holes in the mid to D, bad connections, 2nd half was so-so. People need to calm down - we got a long way to go.
Not just CB’s tbf. Too many over hyped players in this team. Nowhere near enough quality in depth to hurt the big teams that have quality throughout and on the bench.
This was Bolivia. What happened against Panama? Just not enough quality in depth. You’re facing teams packed with quality, not just one or two. Most of the US team are just average.
It's a very sloppy Gregg Berthalter ball! Bolivia is worse than Panama, and I am constantly disgusted with how the team plays under Gregg Berhalter. Pepi should have had more, but this wasn't a good performance, even if we won 5 - 0. Playing Gio Renya too far back and too slow build-up play. If we continue to play this way then we'll get blown out by the big teams.
Pepi was very wasteful. He doesnt have the knack to find the net and needs to get better at peripheral vision and redirecting against the flow. He is always hitting at the obvious spots. Aaronson isnt any better unfortunately. Its pretty much Pulisic and Balogun who can finish. Hopefully Pepi can correct his weakness by next game.
The last comparison is horrible. Yah of course the US doesn’t have an Alvarez, or Messi, or Martinez. You know who else doesn’t? Everyone else in this competition with the exception of Brazil! There’s a reason Argentina won the WC, let’s not make silly comparisons like this
I actually don't agree with Ali on there not being a number 9 that is ruthless enough. We have the people but tactically we aren't using them correctly. But kudos for that Carli Lloyd diss.
How is no one criticizing the play in the back? Multiple simple turnovers from a relatively weak press by both Ream and Richards. Uruguay and, possibly, Panama are going capitalize on those if we repeat those errors.
While these media guys and pundits can hate on Italy compering them to Scotland, which is absolutely disrespect and absurd, Italy always finds a way no matter how poor. Your so-called favourites england would kill to get 4 points and get out of a group with Spain and Croatia. Starting XI. Turner. Robinson, Ream, Richards, Weah. Adams, Cardoso, McKinnie, Reyna. Pulisic, Balogun. This would provide service from the back, with a secure double pivot in Cardoso and Adams. McKinnie and Reyna could provide both support and when free creativity and attack. Pulisic would be freer and Balogun will have service. 0 excuses. Better to try this against Panama than Uruguay, but doubt we'll see such Panache from Berhalter. 👌
Who knew this would be the only highlight for the US at Copa. Tbf everyone other than US fans, but losing to Panama was bad even for the US. Just not enough quality in depth. You rely on two or three players and the rest are average at best. You can judge a team by its bench, and the US is weak in that respect. What happens is Pulisic is injured? Who replaces him? This USMNT always plays to their opponents. It's our weakness. And that is on the mentality of the players and the coach to get them to focus for a full 90. A lot of these players need an attitude adjustment and the coach got has to prepare the team to play like we are playing Brazil every match.

WEAK PERFORMANCE! You could only score 2 goals when it should have been at least 4-0 against a team ranked 84th in the world. Panama is going to be way harder and Uruguay is a no brainer. I seriously doubt that USA is making the final four this time around with it's "golden generation".

Chunky start stop kinda game with all the fouls, hard to get a flow going. USMNT have had struggles in these types of games, tonight was not a struggle which was nice. Work on cutting down the giveaways and finishing and bring on MD2.
I'll take those shots against any goalie and be happy to live with the results. We got great looks, solid attacking and passing. We peppered the goalie with shots and he was extremely fortunate to stop so many. This performance was a positive. Now we just have to do it against stronger teams
Anyway the United States knows that they are going to do way better in scoring and creating more chances too, but why all the teams in this Copa America targeting gio Rena so much? cause he's a skilful dribbler that creates his own chances and passes to his team mates. As soon as gio Rena touches the ball, you will see all the defenders in copa America rushing him like they are rushing Lion Messi too.
