Future of oz rugby looking good. Kiwis played too much as individuals in first half, not much depth, very flat, no real game maker.. half back promising, second half better team work, left it late.
@@jordanmathers3710 so true, i have this guy in my math class he got signed to the sharks in year 10. Would have been amazing for union but nrl snatched him up.
RA: Do you have the VHS from the last time we won the bedisloe cup ? RA social media guy: No but I found something else. It's a game between some kids where we actually beat them.
Wow 3 years later and Sua’ali’i playing for Samoa and Tolotau Koula playing for Tonga at the Rugby League World Cup. Wallabies losing talent to rival code
Never heard anyone claim it's more "manly". It's just way more entertaining than watching a ball being kicked from one end of the field to the other over and over again.
I hate to compare but Im through and through a union boy. The fact is you have to fight for the ball at every ruck is what makes it compelling as opposed to 5 tackles 1 kick. Not to mention, line outs and scrums which are hard fought. I miss playing, watching will never be the same.
I’ve also played both in Queensland and think league was rougher. Union rucks could be rough but league was more consistent big hits because of the run up.
@@RobertGeordieGibb if you want to see some beasts of schoolboy rugby, look at Grey College and Paarl Boys in South Africa. Russia and Italys junior teams are very weak. Italys team has toured and were beaten by an u18 SA B team easily.
What's the penalty for a 9:00??- the ref hasn't indicated he's playing advantage prior to this and looking back none of tackles looked illegal . That's poor refereeing.
@Daniel Holland I think you are right, looks as though its a failure to use arms in the tackle and the player goes over the top. But a ref is supposed to indicate a penalty advantage by holding his arm outstretched waist high toward the non offending team for a period of at least 5 seconds, which I can't see him do. It's an issue primarily for the NZ team who might have chosen a speculative kick chase/option knowing they had a penalty fallback.
