He's new in Pro1 man. He's going to be runing 1000-1200hp next season as opposed to 700, and he said pro1 is a whole different deal being a rookie and going up against drivers such as tuerck, forsberg, and jr. He just needs to keep runing and get used to it.
+Tuğrul Berk UySal It's not even a case of going up against other drivers of that Calibre. He spun on his solo run and he was all over the place being twitchy af. I've seen Pro-AM drivers with better car control than him. He needs to step down a league or two and learn how to drift properly first before going into the big boy league.
It would be cool to add a time-stamp in the description for each of the battles. Going through the entire clip to find a specific match is quite daunting.
He has won 1 out of 4 events this year. How is this close to "almost every round"? I guess you're also the type of kid that thought forsberg lost to wang arent you?
Hype Wrong, its now been proven that he was at fault. There were multiple factors at play. He broke his rear suspension which caused him to slow down at that part since he almost over-rotated. Theres a picture showing his rear end having way too much toe out. Plus slowing down in an acceleration part of the track is also a mistake.
+Isho GT but he had been getting that angle all day especially vs pat mordaunt, why wasn't he eliminated back then if that's the case, and I saw somewhere that his suspension wasn't broken until the contact
Hype Wrong again, he did not get as much angle against the others compared with forsberg. Its not just about the angle, its how fluid it is. You can get all the angle you want but if your speed is not consistent during that moment, especially in a acceleration part of the track, it will count against you as it has been in many competitions not just in FD. Theres a picture of him showing his rear wheel sustaining quite alot of toe out which was before the contact.
No hate, just curious why it always takes so long for you guys to upload the rest. And thank you for uploading these. I really have no idea where else to watch them
Second event in a row I've seen an "underdog" almost obliterate one of the big guys then get crippled by the stress the second run. Patrick Mordaunt had that in the bag against Aasbo but second round he just blanked I guess. Same with Kristaps Bluss last time in the finals against Aasbo.
Dying to see Aasbo not get a podium due to other drivers mechanical failures or catastrophic mistakes. I think one of three things is happening. Either the psychological fallacy of beating Aasbo is clouding his opponents minds and they are literally psyching themselves out to the point that they make catastrophic mistakes, or Aasbo is drifting's luckiest driver, orrrr drifting is rigged in America and Rockstar has a lot of money to throw around lol.
+Crsp Gngr this is all true I mean wouldn't doubt if Formula Drift is rigged I mean there is many other sports that are rigged I mean judges wouldn't mind a couple of thousands in their pockets
Where's top 16 to finals Network a ? I was busy yesterday and didn't catch the live stream...... Wang's victory in top 32 is a ray of hope that FD is about drifting and not racing👍👍👍👍👍👍
Where's top16 - Finals?? Can't find it anywhere. Looks like I might have to give up on FD, coverage this year for streaming is terrible unless you watch live!
it's easy to drift high powered cars vs low powered ones. don't take this wrong but I think the lower powered 200-300hp amateur drifters deserve more respect.
He randomly says the chase drivers name halfway through each run and half the time never says anything after. His drunkenness pisses me off. He is sports' worst announcer by a land slide. His jokes are dumb, he is rude to guest announcers, he shows clear bias for his friends. He says the wrong thing quite frequently and stumbles to correct himself. His arrogance and narcissism take over his commentary. We need Alexi to do both Japan and America, or we need just need this dude fired. ASAP. I don't know why he still has a job after all these years.
He's a rookie in Pro1 man. He is also competing in world series and going to be in Montreal so he said he didn't want to crash. But yeah, he needs a lot more practice. Dudes in Pro1 are not a joke, but he's a good driver and a cool guy.
1:15 Is this an example of too much HP? Viper is getting huge angle and being super fast while the s14 has to sacrafice angle to catch up, but still isnt fast enough to catch up. Viper Too Much S14 Not enough
Recant my earlier statement as per current events..... Is it just me or is the top16 not getting posted due to all the judging "mistakes", Forrests retirement, and the shitstorm hitting FDs social media happening right now... It's really hard to judge the situation for myself as I havnt seen the rest of the event yet.... But judging from what is going down, seems like formula d is dead in the water
this commentator's commentary is the worst thing to listen to. i have to watch the video to understand what the fuck is going on. this guy needs to be replaced with someone who can give a detailed narration.
He gives a fine detail. He describe every run from start to finish. I dunno what people bitch about with him. Its honestly getting on my nerves hearing all the complaints. He describes the runs and people complain. He doesn't people complain. He's no different than that annoyingly loud IDC announcer everyone somehow loves who gives less detailed and is more annoying than Jarod. People always complained he didn't explain what was going on in the runs and now he does and they STILL whine. Don't like it mute the stream and stop complaining.
