The reason they call it a 570 instead of a 550 is because they want to directly compete with the Polaris Sportsman 570.. It doesn't compete well though.. I've ridden both, the Sportsman feels WAY more refined.. Those might be the worst racks in the history of ATVs too.. Come on Textron!!!! You got fighter jets and helicopters in your commercials.. Surely you could set the bar a little higher for your ATVs...
@@therider6926 It's just sad... Textron has the resources to so much better.. Hopefully they turn it around soon.. I'd personally go for a CForce over an Alterra right now if I was doing the budget conscious thing..
@@DirtObseXXion it is, I was expecting textron to come out swinging but it seems they either spend everything on the sxs R&D or are OK being a marginal player in the atv market. They need to shake up things with a full redesign to shed the lackluster artic cat DNA.

The Plastics on the XP850 and 1000 are pretty decent... I know some of the other models are garbage. I had a '16 Grizz that was pretty tore up after about 8 months too..
I really enjoy your videos but always feel you are impartial to certain brands. Anytime a Polaris is reviewed I feel like I am watching a paid advertisement not highlighting any of their shortcomings. If I watch any Arctic Cat review it's almost like I'm being talked out of purchase. Everything else seems to fall somewhere inbetween. I've had both brands and honestly find both ATV companies are much closer in quality and reliability then your reviews lead people to believe. Regardless, I enjoy the quality and information shared in your videos. Keep up the good work.
You know I watched this vid 3 times already and I agree 100% and I'm leaning towards buying the tracker offroad 570 over the cfmoto 600 thanks to this vid
@Ashton Johnson that sounds like either fuel pressure loss or your fuel pump in going out just like my polaris had the same issues and bam bad fuel pump
@Yooper Author that's great I ended up getting the uforce 1000 I love the tracker brand but this blue beauty of a beast caught my eye I had to have it its quality built comfortable to ride and crazy speed and power for a utility sxs.
More then a fair value compared to the competition but built as solid as can be. Frames are heavier tubing by a bit compared to the Japanese bikes but WAY worth it. Rather be a bit heavier to be stronger....less bending and breaking parts. Cats are tough period. I've owed many. Still do.
I've had a 2015 XR 700 (12.000 km's in almost 2 year) and now a 2017 Alterra 700. The chassis and driving position suits me very well and no problems so far. If those new racks are the new standard of Textron/AC this will be my last one. This looks sooooo cheap.
Good friends of mine picked up a 2017 of this machine. Has been problem free so far and had good performance. I think theirs is the 700cc version. The fit and finish of the machine is absolutly embarrassing, can't believe they leave the factory that poorly put together, and we even looked at similar units and they are all the same. I hope they have adressed that issue.
Seems to be exactly the same as my 2016 arctic cat 550XT. Nothing flashy or exciting about it but have not had any trouble whatsoever with it. My wife has 2017 Polaris Sportsman 570 SP so I have ridden both back to back. The sportsman feels like a hot rod whereas the arctic cat (textron) feels like a four door sedan.
My opinion of these machines is poor at best. I know it was technically different, but the 2017 TRV500 we bought new and only used for fire road trails had an axle joint fail within the first 200 km. When it was replaced the dealer said there was no sign of grease ever being in it. The boot wasn't ripped, it was just making awful noise.Then the battery stopped holding a charge at the 5 month mark, and then it was back in for a warranty exhaust replacement because the rivets on the heat shield all just let go and left the shield rattling like crazy. Their build quality isn't there, there are better options for not much more money.
So, it's not really good compared to the competition, but you can't say that on camera. Still using kymco's 550 engine? I wonder if it's a kymco 700 chassis.

Yep just a bunch of sellouts to the Arctic Cat brand Arctic Cat dealerships are happy now I did talk to a few and they refuse to work on anything rebadge tracker boy textron's got a big problem here
No longer exists. Kodiak 700 would be a fair comparison since they’re about the same price in base trim. And it’s no comparison, the Yamaha is way better
Looks like a top of the line low end bike. Personally I'm not impressed. Current bikes I own... Polaris 2014 Sportsman 850xp/Polaris 2017 Sportsman 570sp
This bike is pretty disappointing, I was hoping that it was going to be a direct competitor that could actually trade blows but it's just simply not there
