The route 221 starts from Edgware and terminates at Turnpike Lane via Mill Hill, Finchley, Friern Barnet, New Southgate, Bounds Green and Wood Green. The route is operated by Arriva London based at Wood Green (WN) using Wright Gemini 2s and Hybrids.
The route took longer than it expected to be because of teenagers at Parkmead Gardens who think that they can get on the bus for free by arguing at the bus driver and refusing to get off and bit of traffic around the New Southgate Area.
The route has a lot of hills especially between Edgware and Mill Hill where you can hear the revvs from the bus from going up the hills but the route is nice though.
