AWESOME!! To clarify, what all is need to install this SC Project exhaust application on the 2024 Moto2? Obviously the SC muffler, but how did you address the muffler fitment on the Street Triple that comes with a welded one piece exhaust from end to end? Where did you cut the OEM exhaust off at? Before or after the CAT? Did you use the original headers? Did it require a tune? Comparing the SC to the Race Fit system that is full titanium, and doesn’t require a tune, just swap out and go. Your response and insight to the SC installation details are much appreciated!
Hi, This a a full SC system headers and muffler. So the old system was removed as one piece. A full system (cat removed) would require a tune to ensure the air/fuel ratio is correct throughout the rev range. You can fit any muffler you like, just source some 20-22 headers. Or like you say you can make a cut yourself (after cat) on the original system if you wanted to save money. The Racefit system is brand new 20-22 standard Triumph headers with their muffler. So it’s not “full” titanium, only their muffler is. They keep the cat in so you don’t need a tune. Be aware, the racefit system is very loud and is very common to see on the second hand market because people find them too loud. The disadvantage to SC headers is they don’t have balance pipes. Spark headers are the ones to get 👍🏻 Hope this helps.
@@derb765is there absolutely anywhere to get it tuned. can’t find a single video or place on google that does the street triple moto2. only the daytona
Beautiful bike! I have an RS in carnival red. What was required to get the triumph adjustable rearsets to fit? I really want to run them on mine but from the little info that I can find on the forums, it sounds like a pain to get the shifter to fit.
I had to play around with spacers on various parts of the resets, plus I have to shave a couple of mm off the pivot mount to get it to line up. Find my username on other socials and drop me a message if you want pics etc
awsome bike mate! from reading one of your response you have recommended spark exhaust headers? do you think that will be compatible with the crt sc project?? cheers mate!
@@JasperDayuno hi mate, I tried my SC S1 on my Spark headers and there was about 1mm difference. I have read of other people mounting different brand slip ons onto the Spark headers so I don’t see why there would be an issue. May just require a little bit of adjustment.
@@derb765 They look great, I can't seem to find them anywhere though. Do you have a more specific name or a place to buy them perhaps? Thanks in advance.
Bonjour. Vous l'avez trouvé où cette échappement ? SC m'a informé qu'il n'en fabriquait pas pour les modèles 2023 ! Je suis surpris et intéressé 🤔🤔🤔 Cordialement
Not specific no. It was designed for the 17-22 Street Triple but also fits ‘23. Straight fit, didn’t have to customise anything. Fitted the RapidBike module to sort fueling. I’ve got it going back on the dyno early Sept to check how she’s running and a fettle.
@@derb765no additional things like radiator mount or exhaust mount we don't need to buy separately right? Actually i am thinking of buying sc1r full system whose end can is mounted beneath the pillion footpeg. I was little worried when everyone told me the exhaust system changed😅
I would of your into more spirited riding/track days. With the clip on’s you do get more pressure on the wrists and vibrations, so you are more likely to notice this if you’re pottering about. Other than that, it’s a superb bike!
Hi, yes the bikes been remapped using RapidBike module. Although this is still in progress as the tuner only used the free software, so the results weren’t as expected.
