I'm looking at the Schecter apocalypse c1 fr s purple reign, but it's on back order. That Blackjack Fr s looks sweet, might end up with this if mine doesn't come in. I enjoy your videos and learn a lot, thanks.
Solo 2 on order. Getting it plek'd. The stainless steel frets won't wear out and the Lundgren pickups are so sweet, but can be so nasty. Rock on "D" man.
Getting it plek'd and setup will make your axe better than a $3000 or more. Money well spent. I have done the same w/3 of my Schecters. They will last a lifetime. They are the best spec'd guitars for the money on the market. Cheers!
Have a 6 string c1 blackjack Sls hells gate and my c7 blackjack from this revamped line will be shipped out today 🙏🏻 I’m so pumped to give this a run. Will be doing to cosmetic upgrades but structurally this is the craziest spec guitar I’ve seen in this price range
It's too bad Dagan didn't have the Blackjack Tempest. I would have loved to hear his impressions of it and to hear how it differs in sound from my 2010 model (in White of course!).
I still have my Original Blackjack SLS from 2012 I still love that guitar. I'm so spoiled that nearly every guitar I have picked up since feels like it has a chunky neck profile compared to the SLS barely the width of my finger.
This isn't related but i could do with some advice . Torn between a fender player telecaster and an epiphone ES 335 pro . I really like a the clean twangy sound of the tele but the look and creaminess of the epi 335 is super cool. Any recommendations ? :)
How are the thin-c necks on these? I need a bit of a beefier neck for my long lanky fingers or I get a little cramped, thicker necks let me play a little more lighter and looser
Schecters sound very thin clean. Schecter guitars are designed for high gain shredding. They are kind of a one trick pony that way. I have a C-1 XXX thats 17 years old that still shreds. The C-1 XXX is the C-1 BlackJack with stripper shaped pearl inlays. I did put some Seymor Duncan Phat Cats in it.
I have the Blackjack that comes with the SD "JB" in the bridge and 59 in the neck..I had one just like it in 2009 but not sure how old this guitar is..I have tried contacting Schecter and they have never called me back..I need to know what size the frets are..any idea ?
