Now I know why my derailleur is not shifting precisely, its because of rust deposits on the metal spring. This video really helped me a lot! Kudos to you mate!
Much cheaper than XTR and the jockey wheels can be replaced with XTR bearing jockey wheels... If l was going to upgrade or do a build this derailleur and a two chainring crank would be on top of the list. FANTASTIC value.......😃👍
I like to see todo el triperio all the parts of this single side is a lot of things to remove and putting back again, when I check my trek 3500. In the lands where I from, are dry and the dust rise from one side ends on the other side and that condition bring problem to ours bicycles specially this small thing but this video help me a lot, I enjoy watching, have a nice travel. I just subscribed to your channel. My MTB Ibis Ripley AF Deore 12 speed rear deraileur inner cage bent and broke. Can i just get the inner and outer cage replaced or i need the entire derailleur replaced?

Is there only one position for the tension spring to go back or can extra tension be found / alternative hole spring position as in other Shimano derailleurs?
Waay too much work to keep a derailleur working. Just got slx 12 spd this year and was surprised how high maintenance the rear mech clutch is. Never have to deal with this using sram eagle.
@@mtb717 та в том и дело, что у меня её нет, и чтобы поставить переклюк с муфтой, мне пол-байка придётся заменить😂 да и сама по себе база не заслуживает дорогих компонентов, у меня кинетик шторм) вот и выдумываю, как бы и где бы схитрить, чтобы всё было и тихо, и недорого))
done sir thanks, my another problem is that the pin that hold the lock out is loose, it doesn't hold the lock out,it keeps on dropping, in the mark 11:30 the small pin.
@@mtb717 ye it was the b screw thread. I may of stripped the thread but the newer mechs deffo aren't as durable as the older shimano mechs. I have essentially had to sandwich the bolt with 2 nuts on either end but this has resulted in not having full b screw adjustment :(((
