To develop your shoulder muscles, also known as the deltoids, you can incorporate the following exercises into your workout routine:
1. Shoulder Press: This exercise primarily targets the deltoids. You can perform it using dumbbells, a barbell, or a shoulder press machine. Sit or stand with proper posture, holding the weights at shoulder level. Push the weights overhead while keeping your core engaged and your back straight. Lower the weights back to the starting position with control.
2. Lateral Raises: Lateral raises specifically target the middle deltoids. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding dumbbells by your sides. Raise your arms out to the sides, keeping a slight bend in your elbows, until they are parallel to the floor. Slowly lower the weights back down to the starting position.
3. Front Raises: Front raises primarily target the front deltoids. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding dumbbells in front of your thighs. Raise the weights straight out in front of you, while keeping a slight bend in your elbows, until they are at shoulder level. Lower the weights back down in a controlled manner.
4. Bent-Over Raises: Bent-over raises target the rear deltoids. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, slightly bend your knees, and hinge forward at the hips. Hold dumbbells in front of you with your palms facing each other. Raise the weights out to the sides, squeezing your shoulder blades together, until your arms are parallel to the floor. Lower the weights back down with control.
5. Upright Rows: Upright rows target the deltoids as well as the upper back muscles. Hold a barbell or dumbbells in front of your thighs with an overhand grip. Pull the weights straight up toward your chin, leading with your elbows, until they are at chest level. Lower the weights back down in a controlled manner.
Remember to start with lighter weights and gradually increase the load as you become stronger and more comfortable with the exercises. Additionally, proper form, range of motion, and control are essential to maximize the effectiveness of these exercises and minimize the risk of injury.

Heavy weights with shitty form or light weight with perfect form creates the same results. A trainers job is to make it so complicated you think you can't do it on your own and you become dependent on them like they are of your money.

Finding Mike and his cues is the best thing that happened to my training. I used to be tense af and brace my whole body in order to lift max amount of weight. Locking on joints, moving the weight from A to B and focusing on that progressive overload shit. "Increased weight and got more reps than last time. Hurt my shoulder while doing it but I must be growing!"

bruh, all the know it all people in the comments again dissing mike Idiots, Mike is teaching Regan his method of training he is not his personal coach or his "training Butt buddy" that train together every day. So there is limited time to teach so yes!, mike is going keep "interrupting" and intervening as he is doing the exercise to make sure that Regan is contracting and actually engaging the muscle he is trying to Hit and grow. There is a reason why the Pros like to train with mike.

This is a legit question I’m trying to learn. Without a smart ass answer could someone educate me as to why Mike has Regan performing DB laterals in this fashion? It “appears” as if there’s lots of momentum I “thought” DB laterals are to be performed in a slow and controlled manner. I’m not troubleshooting or bad-mouthing this technique I’m just curious as to what way works best to isolate the medial delt thx 🤙🏽
@ReganGrimes93
@ReganGrimes93 Год назад
No I understand question 100% I’m not sure if the answer made it in the video but I actually asked him in the gym why he chooses this way! If it didn’t make it in the video it’s basically a great way to reduce chance of injury, youre able to throw more weight / load in the Delts if you ask me… and I have no pain in the shoulders this way! Trust me the pump is wild and it works! Give it a try and let me know :)

@@ReganGrimes93 Thanks for the clarification Regan I really appreciate you taking the time to even acknowledge my comment 💪🏽🤙🏽. I’ll most definitely give it a shot on Tuesday since my training split has me hitting delts.
