Silly Billy's backstory is actually quite tragic... Supposedly he is actually from an alternate universe where BF lost his GF, hence why he looked like that. But unknown to him... Her spirit is possessing his mic, we even hear her through parts of the song when his voice tops the mic's capacity. Like when he screams "PROUD" you hear TWO voices singing. We can also see her spirit behind him at around 0:17, giving him a hug from behind. *Known as Herself in the song* She misses her BF, who she called her "Silly Billy". The backstory being inferred also based on his lyrics asking for someone, staying awake also meant stay alive. I'd imagine in that universe she didn't want him to avenge her death either, but that was "his way" to try to save her or bring her back. Said avenging probably involved... Killing everyone he could to gain the power to bring her back, her parents, etc.
the lyrics are actually referring to Divide, one of the artists who drew some sprites of sonic.exe mod and passed away 3 years ago, his cause of death was unknown but the lyric "I'll make you say how proud you are of me" is basically referring as how the FNF community is proud of divide and the lyric "so stay awake just long enough to see" is referring how some of the community wished Divide was still alive to see the community's creations.

Might be different with this mod, idk, it is possible for them to stop the instrumental and vocal audio files for the normal gameplay and put a 1 minute audio of pure silence and then insert a full audio song in there
@Eclipse-gm5vq You said they should silence both the Instrumental and Vocal files for the gameplay. Wouldn't it make more sense if the Instrumental was replace with silent audio (or TeeJayMac2007's suggestion) so that the Vocal audio can play on its own during said gameplay?

After he say "Just long enough to see, my waaay!" Boyfriend starts singing really low quality. That's what I'm talking about.
This is honestly a good example to show that Herself is singing with Yourself the entire time. Without the instrumentals, You can super clearly hear Herself along side Yourself from the start. Dont believe me? Rewind and listen closely

Sad fact: this was technically made by Divide (some people call him Divine) Divine was a modder/dev for sonic.exe. But one day, he died in his sleep from cancer. Apparently though, someone saw his sketch of this alternate boyfriend character, and made a whole mod about it. While the lyrics do reference girlfriend, it also references Divide and how If Divide was alive right now, he would be proud. And the stay awake part references how Divide died in his sleep, saying for him to stay awake to see what he had created.
