It was pretty easy but you really helped your describing is perfect! and I was looking for a design for a while because there was a lot of them that where okay but very big and my room isn't the biggest room so when I found this video I got really happy! I even bought wood bexs I don't know what you call it in English but it's basically a oil or something and you just pensel it on and now it's like a darker wood color and it just bring the wood back you see all the wood textures and that look real good in my opinion.Thanks a lot I'm super happy whit the results! Sorry for my speling or explaining I'm not the best at English😁😂😬

@Magge Hubbaren Hey Magge, I think the wood bexs may be what we can stain here in USA. It’s like a colored transparent liquid that does exactly what you are saying…brings out the natural grains of the wood, and I totally agree with you. The natural look of the wood is *much* better than any paint you could put on there. Your English is great! I totally understand you. I wish I could reach you on another platform so it would be easier to communicate with you so I can fully express my gratitude for your comments and your feedback here. You said your English isn’t very good so I assume you are speaking with me in a secondary language for you. My video here is in imperial measurements. Did you convert them over to metric or do you know how to read an imperial tape measure? Your hard work and determination is very humbling to me. You are a star Magge. Keep up your fantastic work. @@CurtisMadeIt yes that's exactly what I meant! Thanks a lot for that, I have a B in English but I'm mostly good at talking not spelling so thanks a lot. And about the measuring I do know a little but I kinda used like a translator to se the exact measurements, and also yes I come from Sweden so I talk Swedish as a my main language but in school my secondary language is English. I would love to keep talking and just give update on the bed but mostly just the room because the bed is pretty much done, so if there is any platform you would rather talk on I wouldn't mind!

How many pieces of wood should I get

@Pap1gee Hey John, all of them, of course! Haha, just kidding 😎 You are gonna need eleven 2x6x8 untreated boards for this build as it is in the video. Sorry man but I have to ask, how does this bed hold up when you guys are doing the nasty? I wanna build this for me and my girlfriend. I don’t mean to throw any shade or body shame to you or anyone in the comments but we’re light, less than 300 pounds together.

@Bruno-mw3mm Hey Bruno, no need to worry about nocturnal activities compromising the structural integrity of this bed frame. When built correctly, this bed frame will support multiple people that are very large. Some people have left their height/weight on some of the other floating bed frame videos posted on this channel and I’ve been thoroughly impressed to hear that their bed frames are holding up just fine. @ivan nightly Hey Ivan, thanks for this recommendation and your compliments. You are likely correct, I could bolt the bed frame to the wall, but I'm in an apartment and I'd like to keep my videos as user friendly as possible. I think securing to the wall would drive some potential users away. When you use 2x6's for the base and the frame, as illustrated in the video, there is no need to secure to the wall. @Marco Vitiello Hey Marco, thanks so much my friend. I really appreciate your question here, I'll do the best I can to contain myself. That's my own personal creation. I spent over two years engineering and reverse engineering it to make it different sizes and very uniquely amazing. This was something I created long, long before the thought of creating a RU-vid channel entered my mind and I'm not ready to make a video for it yet, so I drop little snippets of different ones that I've created...just for fun...in to my videos to hopefully drum up some interest and get to talk to people like you. I haven't done much work with these recently because of several factors, but when my RU-vid channel really takes off and I have the time and resources to devote to it, this will be something I will pick up again in the future. I couldn't seem to drum up enough interest in the people around me at the time, so I'll put it out there for the world to see and hopefully, someone will see it. I'm also open to investors for this project. I poured my soul in to this one for years to get it where it is at now. They...quite understandably...are pretty mind-blowing in person. People have literally thrown money at me and demanded that I give them the one that I have on display at that moment. Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving your comments and compliments, I appreciate it. This full size bed frame is 100% rock solid. It doesn't tip or rock at all. This full size has only been in service a couple of weeks, but my other size floating bed frames have been in service for *years* with no issues at all. You can use the 2x8’s for the outside and cut your joists to 54” so that you have a little pit for the box spring/mattress to sit in if you want, but this isn’t necessary I don’t think. My queen size doesn’t move *at all*. Your build is up to you how you want it to look, this video just offers an idea for you to build off of. I don’t even have a full size bed! I just built this for you guys. I haven’t banged my knees or shins at all in the over 2 years I’ve had it and since modified it. I hope this helps. I appreciate your support my brother.
