Thank you Sue. That poor chap really did explode. At first I could not register what I was seeing because the bones were out of place. Then I realised after a rewind that yes he literally popped. Any how interesting and beautiful as always. 😂😂 lucky for us you didnt hear Charlie the voice and make a Dash for it. Don't mind people that talk horseraddish.❤
Hi Sue I love that someone cared about their dog enough to have him or her buried with them, I have my old dogs ashes and my two dogs I have now I will be doing the same and then when my time is up they will be coming with me but I don’t want to be buried so our ashes will all go somewhere together people think I’m nuts but my dogs are my whole world. Loved the video love from Wales 🏴
I have the bones of 1 of my dogs. I'd prefer his bones go to someone who would appreciate them, not be buried or cremated with me. He was my fav dog ( very calm blue heeler mix), though I dearly love the one I have now ( a "velcro dog" full blue heeler). I am an OG "vulture culture" woman.
@canislatrans8285 Taking my dog's bones along with me in my coffin. There's no one who could "appreciate" them, and no one who could love him as much. He died in 1973, and I still love and miss him. Hope to be reunited with him. If not, at least our bones will be together. 🐾🐾
I remember years ago on the Telly I saw a programme showing a similar style cemetary somewhere in England and you could see the bodies .One had the remains of red hair and I think she was a countess or something there was even a little coronet on her head .Ive often wondered where the place was ,it was so interesting .
My eyesight isn't great so it looked like the poor skeleton was kind of bashed up & falling apart. Why do some of the mosoleums have only numbers. I think the dog looks like a golden retriever. I heard a man's voice. Thanks for another good tour safe travels ❤️
Out of curiosity, before you leave the graveyards, do you wish everyone a peaceful rest and thank them for letting you visit? You don’t need any hangers on or bad juju
There is a mausoleum that my son and myself visit two, three times a year. We are always quiet and respectful. When we leave, we always at the doorway, pray 🙏 that all the souls interred there eternal rest. So far, nothing bad has happened to us.
Sue the poor man (skeleton) appeared to be trying to raise up. I know that it wasn't however that is what it looked like. You two take care and stay safe and well!
That being said, Ray Steven's song, Sittin' Up With The Dead comes to my mind. An attempted mortuary "hack" to allegedly lay an arthritic old man's corpse flat, that Failed at the Wake! Pull it up sometime on Y/T!!
@SerenitySueGraveyards Ray Stevens and I were born about 30 miles away from the other. Remember his hit song about the time a squirrel ran loose in church service and ran up the granny's 👗dress! A funny one! Which made him a tun of $$. Then "AHAB the ARAB" from about 1962. Way back before your time Sue! And GV's ! But Ray was quite a song writer who went on to have a few hits of his own!
@waynejones205 Wayne thanks! I have a few personal memories of Ray. Quite the writer and performer! I really really liked the man. Do you remember ahab the Arab? Ck em all out!
Marie Gifford married Fredrick William Lewis Augustus Count De Lusi late Prussian Envoy Extraordinary to the Court of Greece thus becoming the Countess Marie de Lusi. @@SerenitySueGraveyards I love the history and enjoy following you in your journey! If I see a name, I try to look them up. So historic. I just love yo Sue!!! You always discover the most wonderful places. 🇮🇪 is gorgeous!!! ❤️
Loved hearing the man spirit he did not sound angry just saying hi im here , also maybe spirit were mannipulating your camera as they do and Thankyou love watching🙏🫶
Wow, that really was something else. A privilege to see it in a way. And I wanted you to look through every vault and show them all!! (Jeez, don't ask for much do I lol) And omg that EVP you captured was extraordinary, just matter of fact, like he was mentioning something to you - it even sounded from the Victorian era!! You need to go back!!! 🤣xx Teresa 🇦🇺♥
That skeleton was similar to one you found elsewhere, shame the coffin has deteriorated. Not sure if I could have looked straight into that vault with the round opening, I would have had to come in from the side just incase anything popped up to greet me. Love your videos.
Hi Serenity Sue! What a wild and very cool cemetery Mt. Jerome. That voice was very interesting. The dead have a lot to say. I wish that EVP was clearer. Jean Crosby Nashville TN USA
There's a fiber optic attachment for cell phones and a driver download that will turn your camera into a boredscope for viewing through confined areas.
Ah, yes!! That skeleton is Morty's long lost brother, Marty!! I'll bet they were glad to be reunited!!☠☠🤣🤣🤣🤣 Those rows of mausoleums remind me of a housing estate!! The individual mausoleums even have numbers on them, just like a house would!! At least, no one has to deal with noisy neighbours - hopefully!!🤔🤔 Thanks for showing us Mount St Jerome's again, Sue!! I love that cemetery!! It's ABSOLUTELY FASCINATING, and full of history!! XXXX 🤗💞❤👏👍💕
Yes GV, instead of swapping family stories they could help each other out with perhaps a new clavicle or even a hip replacement? just a thought 'lol'❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎
Love it. We just battled another surgery last week and my husband's stepmom passed away. Funeral is Tuesday this has been neverending. God is sure testing me this year. But I keeping telling him I got this. ❤❤
Death seems so final, or is it?after hearing voices from the crypt door there's just a minuscule tidbit of doubt, I am one of those in that camp and only in the fullness of time will my questions be answered, or maybe not & it's lights out Irene followed by oblivion, one of the mysteries of life lies in the imagining of many such conundrums. As usual a great explore Sue, "Thank You" for a most respectful & intriguing look into the otherworldly machinations of the Mount Jerome mausoleums, RIP to the dear souls stacked so neatly in their stone and brick vaults, most interesting indeed...Warmest Regards to both You & GV!!! Shane👍👍
Until now...I happily traipsed through life NOT realising there was an "Exploding Coffin Syndrome." After watching so many of your shows...it never occurred to me. You've been exploring that idea all along! "There is none so blind as he who will not see." 😆🤣 And, yes...that "Irish Wolfhound" does look like a retriever!🤣
I've heard of it for sure, that's the terminology of it, It's like human combustion but that happens to the living.... so yes it happens to the dead but only if the embalming process is not done correctly. I am probably not the best at dog names 🤣
@@SerenitySueGraveyards Just...wow... It sounds perfectly plausible and sensible. Those chemicals they used in embalming weren't very "user-friendly," I suppose. Hopefully, these "em-bombings" occurred long after the embalmers were themselves deceased. Otherwise...well...that would be a letdown, wouldn't? 🤣 Aloha, Sue!
@jimcabezola3051 I think it's more like NOT embalming that causes the problem. The gases that build up from unembalmed corpses are unspeakably nasty. Ever see a dead horse, cow, deer, etc. out in a hot field? They blow up to twice their size, and will explode if the vultures and small creatures can't get to them. Ireland and Britain didn't have embalming laws until fairly recently. I know that as late as 1967, Britain didn't embalm. Sorry the poor guy's coffin exploded. Sad.
hi Sue, so can you explain to me exactly what the exploding coffin syndrome is? I'm sorry I'm new to this channel. Also, I had a question. Do you think that that coffin exploded in the year that he died in the 1800s? And it's just been like that for this many years? amazing videos thank you so much😄
Maybe from being pushed hard against the coffin lid until it finally popped open? Decomp gases inside a coffin having the stretched skin pushing hard until the coffin nails pop?
Looks like they lifted the late while he was fresh and robbed him. Then he dried out and went to bones. Looked like the lid was against the wall on the left.
This is bonkers! Caskets may explode if they have rubber grommet seal between the box and lid. But doubtful in that era, they had that tech. God forbid the dog was buried at the time of the man's death. IDK, but would that he'd lived his life vs. being put down in perfectly good health. #IJS😢
@SerenitySueGraveyards Hey Sue, true that! Your voice is so nice and relaxing btw. There could have been some type of sealant, yes. Caulking maybe. I just learned on mortuary pages here that this may happen when those gases associated with decomposition have no other escape
I've just had a look and for a couple of brief seconds I could see the face. It's almost at the end of the exploding coffin video. I believe either Richard the Lionheart or William the Conqueror exploded!
I think Henry VIII casket exploded. Then they dropped him when they tried to take him down into the vault. I'm sure they were just glad he was gone. I would have just slid him down the steps.
Unfortunately, when we die, and decomposition has done its job. All that's left are bones. It is the nature of life. Bones are some of the strongest parts of humans. After cremation, the bones are ground up into smaller pieces. Even bones can withstand the great heat from a cremation oven.
