Remember, SHE was Obama's mentor for that summer program at the law firm. And as he campaigned for president, his team took her aside and urged her to fall back a bit so as not to outshine him. Both Michelle and Obama wrote about this in their respective books. They made her do the speech circuit for Obama's campaign trail, remember? She has always been brilliant.
