I cannot imagine a worse grief than giving birth to a baby that passes in the hospital, only to come home to a house prepared for an upcoming baby and leaking milk for a baby that is not alive... i could not feel more horrible for op. I'm so glad that she's moving past this and doing well. I pray that she finds a good man and has healthy children with him ❤

NTA you can’t control others’s actions. He CHOSE to walk out. He CHOSE to ignore the messages & calls. His family CHOSE to ignore you. You did what you could & that’s all you could do.

NTA! You did try contacting him and you even got your family to try contacting him. It's not your fault that he can't be bothered to try and call you or your family back to see what was wrong and he shouldn't be in your apartment without you. If him and his family keep bothering you I would get a restraining order against all of them. Because you have got a lot to deal with and you are still trying to heal after the loss of your child. I can only imagine how hard it must be not only losing your child but also having to deal with him and his family.

It's reasonable for the guy to take time to wrap his head around the idea of being a dad, but his decision to disappear and disregard everything related to her and the baby goes against their initial agreement to keep the child. He left for over 2 1/2 months, wouldn't take any calls, and then got mad that she didn't inform him of the child's passing, despite her and her family's attempts to reach out to him and his mother? It's understandable to take some time like a few days to process, but almost 3 months with no contact? That's a big difference. What do you think?

Because she didn't want the baby and he did. So she decided to keep it, then he bailed. This is not a situation of a man having the choice made for him.
