This brings back memories!! I’d be so hooked and determined to beat this game! Many hours spent staring at ships lol. I loved the sounds the lil crew members made
I was so young when I would play this game and watch my older brother play it. I remember the game itself and the style and some of the maps but largely this video is unrecognisable due to my not being able to remember from that age. It is a weird feeling.
Oh the memories. Just watched a Diablo run before this and I am getting mad nostalgia. I played the shit out of both of those games for PS1. Sadly, I can't find my Diablo copy.
I'd run down to a friend and play this a few times and even got to borrow it once or twice, but third time i was declined haha, guess he got tired of borrowing out his games to me. Always wondered what its name was, thanks google.
i remember when i was a child, more then 18 years ago i stacked on the level with aztecs...only from your video i recognized there is a map in this game. I didn`t know about the f*cking map 18 years ago! xD
There is a game on steam called Windward.. that led me to this. I couldn't remember this games title till Google told me. Overboard! is obviously an inspiration for Windward.
The great thing about this game is, other than it working perfectly fine on Windows 10, the engine supports up to FullHD (1920x1080px / 1920x1200px) resolution while on top of that you can increase the graphics quality with your graphics cards control panel by adding Multi-Sampling AA 8xEQ, Anisotropic Filtering 16x. And it's even compatible with plugged in controllers (PS4 controller), all you gotta do is set the controls ingame. Unfortunately the engine cannot handle 2K and higher resolutions...
Yes you're right it's the PC version, which explains i almost kill myself when flying (19:02) due to rendering engine not synchronized with physical engine (doesnt happen on playstation).
Yes! It took me a long time to understand why it does this (rendering engine not synced with physical engine). You can fix it by locking the FPS to 30 (or even lower, the lower the longer the jump). Download FRAPS for example, set recording FPS to 30, and start recording before the fountain jump.
@@ericmeyer7191 You are amazing! I'm making a letsplay of this game and I almost had to end the series because of the geysers and now it's fixed thanks to you!
Yeah that part is incredibly annoying. You suppose to use BOOST key when you go forward, so you jum onto fountains at faster speed to jump over the walls.
Gracias; espero tu pronta respuesta ===================================================================== Hi, I do not speak much English; I just wanted to ask if, despite being an old game, it can work for PC versions, eg. I have a W10, but I do not know if there is any compatibility with the game. Also I have a problem ... How do you install that game, I saw a link where the game I downloaded, but this incomplete, lacks audio or soundtrack and how it is added ...? In case you do not understand me, I write you below in English translation so that you can clarify certain points ... Thank you; I wait for your early reply
No hablo mucho espanol, sorry. You can emulate the PS version or directly play the PC version. Both cases, cd-roms use CDDA after Data : -For the playstation version, its almost impossible to have ingame musics (best audio plugins like eternal spu or P.E.Op.S. DSound can not handle this kind of audio). Long story short, it is a bad idea to play this game on an emulator. -For the PC version, I gave the link in a previous comment. If you have a physical cdr reader, I'd advise to burn the iso and play from the physical cdr, as most cdr readers are able to interlace data and CDDA at the same time. You can try using a disk emulator like daemon tools, but you are likely to miss musics or suffer delayed offsets.
