I never know how much information to give in this “complete strange situation”. This may be too much?? I’m not Joe Rogan or a superstar RU-vidr (sadly). My day job - I am a recruiter, and focus on the engineering sector. I started my business 6 years ago. I started doing a load of videos 5 years ago, which was mostly; helping people find a job to companies recruit better etc. On top of that, I started (which are weirdly going down well on LinkedIn) comedy (will be up on RU-vid this week), and video podcasts. I started the podcast in Audio format 3 years ago now, and during covid last year, made the transition to video ones, (full podcast on RU-vid, highlights on other places like LinkedIn). My main social media traction admittedly is LinkedIn. The podcast is called “It Starts with you” I talk to people with a story basically, from start-ups to life-changing situations. Most have been about business settings, but I really want to capture the world in a general sense. It’s super chilled, I don’t have set questions, we roll with it. I put the guests in control too, so if you say or do anything you don’t want in the podcast, it's cut out. I want it to be about you, and have fun too! We popped into the circus and then back out again, it eventually took around 4 hours to get into Spain, even though we were less than a few KM away at that point. When we did finally make it into Spain we had a chicken with us…. True story and one for next week! Sounds like you have quite the adventure planned. Wales, the north and then into Scotland. Hi No worries nomad! Great to hear from you friend. We have been in a real hurry to get down to Portugal, and so zipping along the toll roads (expensive and not the best for seeing things). We didn’t get the ferry to Spain because it was about £400 + one way, worked out to be more expensive than the toll roads, we also do like a drive and drawing lines on maps!! The 90 day rule is tricky now, and frustrating. Currently We have a couple of months left of travel before we run out of days, after that we shall head to a different part of the world (Africa) before returning. Not a long term solution, so we will look for a better alternative. If you have any ideas, please let us know. @@TheNewbys My past 3 weeks has been quite hectic. Monica steped into a small pothole when walking the dog, fell and twisted her left elbow. Ambulance + hospital= left arm in a cast! Bedrest. I´m doing all the work and this last week she´s out of the cast. Nothing broken and it´s going the right way. But thanks for asking! So traveling beside you is a kind of bliss and different view for the brain. I charge my batteries going with Safari and singing Thunderstuck along the way! Na na na na na na na na na thunder!
