IT AMAZEZ ME THAT PEOPLE OUR AGE HAVE RELAXING BACKGROUND MUSIC. I TRY TO WATCH CONTENT I'M REALLY INTRESTED IN LEARNING BUT CANNOT STAND THE SCREAMING GUITAR, HEAD BANGER MUSIC IN THE BACK GROUND. THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND, MANY FOLKS USE HEAD PHONES SO THEIR SPOUSE CAN WATCH TV. THE SCREAMING MUSIC, OH LORD!!! GREAT VIDEO!!! I HAVE A GRAND DOG NAMED HERKY.
Such a nice setup for sure. The idea of using the Clam wall as an awning is genius. You have all the comforts of home. Super nice! Cool video. Thanks for sharing. Safe travels!
@@Hanginwithherky I am so looking forward to it! I live n the Mohawk Valley, which sits at the base of the Adirondacks. My girl, Matilda Marie and I, love to go hiking in the mountains, Cant wait!
Love your setup! The addition of the van really makes a nice difference. Sorry you got rained on at the rally. That’s camping though. You never know what the weather is going to do.
We are brand new to Runaway. We have noticed that in the beginning you used an easy up with sides and then switched to an arb awning with sides. Which do you like better and why? Trying to decide what would be better and figured you have experience with both.
We still use both set ups. The EZ up is hard to set up and takes up a lot of room to carry around but you can’t beat it for a long term campsite it has lots of room and with the sides it’s perfect. If you buy one get one with a high roof so the water runs off. We have a proshade brand. For road trips we like the ARB it don’t take up much packing space and it’s quick to set up so we still like both and use both from time to time. The ARB is expensive so that is why we did without it for so long.
Fantastic setup and camp! I gotta share with you, one of my social groups is planning a camping outing in June. My first thoughts, glad I got my vaccine second thought - not yet! I don't have a runaway or an Astrovan yet! Either way, good to be able to get out and enjoy. Thank you for sharing. Both of you enjoy, get your rest and stay safe! Hello Herky And belated happy birthday!
I want to thank you for telling me about the rally and the owners club. Well I have been on facebook for a week now. Sure is a lot that goes on there. Thanks again.
Hi Ed, Nancy and Herky, where did you get the screened room for your unit? Is this the Rhino awning you can add to the Runaway campers? I like the screens and privacy courtains inside. Thank you
I just found you two today and have subscribed. I discovered Runaway Campers yesterday and am so happy to see a local company that has campers that my vehicle can actually tow! I’m spending my retirement getting ready to travel with my little dog and plan on picking up a Runaway soon! By the way, my picture was taken about 25 years ago. It would be nice if I still looked that way. Ha Ha! However, my dog doesn’t care, so why should I? Looking forward to seeing y’all down the road somewhere soon.
Hey what’s going on you guys love you guys Take Care... O Herky Happy Birthday 🎈🎊🎂🎉🎁 I Remember being 4 years old and That was 60 years ago wow time flys when you’re having fun hahaha 🙏❤️💪☮️
Awww Great video!! Your doggie is so cute!! Looks like you have some great adventures 👏👏 We recently got a teardrop camper and started a RU-vid journey as well! Always great to see a fellow teardrop RU-vidr!! Would love to stay connected!!
Camping : Where you spend a fortune to live like a homeless person. :) We like it but for years we just used a ezup and it suited our needs just fine but it was hard to set up.
Hey there my name is Art I’m a driver out at Disney my wife and I have been looking in to getting a runaway camper. I was wondering if your still out at Fort Wilderness?
