so quickly looking on zoopla this house was brought in september 2011 for 680k almost now 12years later selling it for £1.62million more. that's damn near crazy. even more crazy to think it bought for £100k in 2003. I know you've got a job to do and yes the house is very nice but you can see why young people like myself how to move out of London or forced to rent longer to have the basics. it's crazy that being said a very very good investment. lord know what the price would be in another 10years.
Unfortunately that is supply and demand. Since 2003 the UK population has grown by 8 or 9 million people, mainly via immigration. To put the numbers roughly into perspective, it equates to the entire population of Austria or Switzerland or half of Somalia moving here and requiring homes, no wonder we have had massive house price inflation. Not that I can talk, I immigrated here too.
