I think that Tyrogue would be a good candidate for a divergent/convergent evolution line. Instead of evolving based on the ratio of Attack and Defense, this other species would be based on Special Attack and Special Defense.

Hitmonbro: A Slowbro looking Pokemon that has a backwards baseball cap and does the "come at me bro" stance a lot. Type: Fighting Ability: Brotastic. The only one I've used for an in-game team is Hitmonlee. If I ever replay a game from Gen 4-9, including Gen 2-4 remakes, I would consider trying out the other two. Hitmonchan didn't become remotely viable until Gen 4 due to the physical/special split and gaining the Iron Fist ability. I'm glad that Hitmontop got Triple Axel. I wish that its signature move Triple Kick was buffed. I also wish that Hitmontop had its hidden ability was changed to Dancer. Hitmontop and Hitmonlee are 2 of the Pokémon that I'd consider gifting Aqua Step. 4 of the others would be Golduck, Swanna, Oricorio, and Ludicolo.

GG Ben, I had no theme team, I just threw some of my Pokemon together for a fun team. I hesitated to use Body Press against that Hitmonchan, I thought it might have terra ghost. XD Pokemon team is below for anyone interested. Dragon Mane had astonish, mean look, confuse ray and pain split. Jolly nature, attack and defense investment Haxorus was a Guillotine, rest, sleep talk set. Jolly nature, invested in speed and hp Run4YourLife was invested in defense and special defense. Bold nature with Cud Chew was it's ability. Kurotori was a mixed set with max special attack and hp

Hitmon paradox forms! One future fighter and one past fighter. Really hard to not instinctively go for "Iron Fist" for the future mon so instead I'll go with "Iron Boot." For the past I've got "Crackling Fist" as to not create confusion with "Thunderous Fist." Or we could pull a Donphan with Hitmontop and use him for a past/future version with old kind of top used and a future kind used!

The first foe was "Mudendaina", a name that has me totally lost. I have no idea what word they were trying to say. Also, for the record on some of the names, "Mazda" was originally the name of sun/light/high god of Zoroastrianism, but the name ALSO gets applied sometimes to Prometheus, the Greek mythical figure that stole the secret of fire from the gods to give to humanity-- so a humanoid fire pokemon having that name is probably referencing that. The "rizz" thing is some new internet slang from the past year based off of the core word of "charisma", referring to attractive social qualities.

I would like a Hitmonetic, a special move using fighting type. It evolves from Tyrogue at level 20 if either special defense or special attack are higher than the other stats. It's signature move is called Kinetic Palm, a special fighting type move with 60 base power and forces the opposing pokemon to swap out with one of its allies.

True on this. I'd rather face a legendary from a regular whenever a Theme Team Battle Stream is ongoing (which always has meme sets and at times, intentional nerfs even) than those Little Timmies in randos.
