I know its not all about gear, because the important stuff is the playing, touch, technique and practice. Nonetheless, right or wrong, we all pay a lot of attention to the kit we use.
Wow, man! I have Aretha's remake on most of my mixes, so right away your lead was familiar, but damn man- you really tore it up. And I've been playing slide with my middle or ring finger for well over 30 years- until I watched your "pinky" video last week. 🤣 🤣 🤣 Wow- this whole time I've been almost exclusively used the NOS "coricidin" bottle Duane made famous- which has more room than most slides I'm realizing. Lol. Anyways- thanks man. I've been a professional musician for many years, and played with some greats. I think it's the people who can actually listen and apply what you're saying that will benefit the most, though I'm not sure guys or gals that have been doing it "their way" for as many years as I have would be open enough to really give it a solid try. 😉 😂 Hopefully I'm wrong!!
