It's what happens when you're friends with someone who is obsessed with her brother, to the point.... that trying to murder her brother's soulmate FL would've been the right thing, apparently in their minds.... but then Nanfang had to be a hero, for his soulmate FL... and it woken up his sister's eyes, knowing her own brother tried to sacrifice himself for the FL. I forgot the SFL name and his sister's name.

Thank you! They are both manipulative psychopaths who should not be allowed to be around a child! The sister literally tried to murder the FL! And the mother has been awful the entire time! The fact that both of them are with the daughter without the FL even knowing, much less allowing it, is a huge red flag!

This guy is so arrogant! His wife is at the hospital and never showed any concern for her. I’m sorry this guy didn’t deserve a second chance. He allowed his mom and sister to abuse her. I loved that in the midst of the chaos he zoned in and listened to his daughter telling him the lady said she would be her stepmother. I can't stop replaying it. It was a beautiful touching scene. Then he held her and reassured her he will only marry her mother. I just love it. Well done. I loved this drama on a whole.

Love this drama, I love the little girl who plays the daughter, delivery of lines were perfect and funny also had good comical timing especially when she sprayed the girl. I hope she gets a award for her performance in this drama and hope to see her in other dramas.

I think original poster and i just applying logic of school releasing kid to some "random". My neck of woods you have to be on a list of know the password of picking up a kid for the first time ( a lot of red tape) 🤣 And DNA test needs mums consent😂😂 etc..i think with cdramas you have to think it's another world.

There's a book called "The Millionaire Next Door". You wouldn't know a lot of millionaires have money because they do things like drive normal cars, not status cars, and wear clothing for a long time. So it's possible for Tianwei to wear the same clothing. Not everyone replaces them after a year or two! :)

I thought this miniseries will feel and look like a low budget one but after watching it, it's actually directed well. There are loopholes, yes, but if you not focus on those details, you will quite enjoy this :)

He’s just saying words. He doesn’t seem like he knows what love is. We see nothing that explains why and how he suddenly “loves” her after being abusive and toxic for 6 months. Him finding her diary that she loved him has zero to do with his own feelings. I think he missed having someone who catered to him and took care of him. Real love is not his arrogant and controlling self!

This is one of my favorites. Although the transfers between past and current events are sometimes a bit skewed..especially befor the 5 year gap, so it was somewhat difficult to follow chains of events. This child and the interactions with the father are so adorable. Facial expressions of the 2 are the best. Thank you so much.

Oh lord, he wasnt abusive. Neglectful of his wife? Yes, but thats not always abuse. Also, remember she still went along with a marriage that he didnt really want. Imagine yor grandfather forcing you to marry someone you barely knew as a person? I think I would probably ignore this person too and wait for gramps to go so that I can be rid of them. He wasnt mean, just didnt like/know her and thought better of his mother and sister. EVerytime he walked into a room with her THEY made it look like she was attacking them, and all she did was..nothing. Barely defended herself until the last moment.
