I was once bitten by a snake in Namibia. Fortunately, nothing as highly poisonous as this creature. Since then, I've just been purely afraid of them. I am hypnotised by what I have seen here. My toes curled and I pulled my feet up. I live in Germany. There is nothing like that. I was in Afgahnistan and Kosovo. But nothing shocks me as much as this kind of animal. The way you've handled this inspires me with the deepest awe. And it was really close for you.
