What an impressive kit! I built an equivalent Hasegawa 1/32 Focke Wulf FW-190 kit years ago in the ‘70s. It was an impressive kit at that time and it still is today. This Revell kit is just as equally impressive. Great build job! 👍
I've been building models for 12-14 years I'm 22 now but I've still got a long way to go to get to this level of quality, you've shown me so many different techniques and different tools I need to build even a half decent model, thank you for your work it is truly a masterpiece, true passion, I've watch quite a few of you videos and even the older ones are truly amazing, toy are an amazing builder, and a brilliant teacher, thank you
Revell & Monogram were my favorite models when I was a kid 50 years ago! This is so fun to watch - we were lucky to have a few cans of spray paint in those days.
All I can say is WOW! You have some serious control with that airbrush. I'm barely starting out with airbrushing, and I wouldn't have attempted camouflage patterns without some crazy masking going down. Hope I can someday learn to manage the air like you do.
Very nice job. Ive started going to 1/32 scale as easier on these eyes than 1/48th! I have this kit and i Just glanced thru it but i think it can also be built as an A8. Your work is very inspiring. Well done. happy modelling.
Iḿ learning a lot with this video, now myself on a Heinkel He 111 H-6 , I've choosed the torpedos one 1942 Bardufoss, it's my number 5 luftwaffe model and bit by bit they are getting better, I got them all in 1:48 scale cause I love to compare sizes and lines. Thanks to these kind of videos our planes are happier ;)!!!
Amazing work! I'm working on my first model ever, an Eduard Bf 109E 3 and it's turning out much better than expected thanks to people like you on RU-vid. Thank you for all the great video and explanations!
très beau modèle trés détaillé, belle peinture, montage précis. Que du bonheur. Revell nous gate depuis quelqyes années avec ses maquettes au 1/32 qui donne envie de faire ces beaux montages
It seems crass that you can build a Nazi plane that killed many lives but not include its insignia. As abhorrent Nazism is I don’t believe in trying to sensor or erase history.
Great videos and wonderful model building skills. I haven't made models since I was a kid but watching these makes me want to get back into it. But, I have no idea what to do with the kits once they are finished!
Dusan, your modeling skills are purely awesome. I could watch you do these models all day, but then, I wouldn't get any of my models done. If I may ask, what is the title of the music at the 16 and 26 minute mark? love it. Also, what do you do with these models you build? Thank you for your videos.
Super work.I have the same kit in my vary vary big stash plus a set of Eagle Cal decals for the F8'.After seeing your video I'm going to make it my next project.
Magnificent !! Well done, sadly the lack of swastikas (however non-PC) takes away all the effort to make it as authentic as you've done with the rest of the kit. They are a historical fact, a reality that can be addressed without apology.
Brian May I agree. If the kit is to be historically correct then it would be more complete if the swastika was included. What next? All of the documentary’s on tv about WWII going to have it blanked out?
Thank you for a very instructional video, been modeling for some years now, but have picked up some real good tips here, such as pre-shading and washes ...many thanks
+ScaleModelAircraft I used model master acrylic rlm 74 and 75 and could just barely see that there were two colors, my grey/violet was very dark and my other color is much more green. Your's seems to have a nice definition between the two. I ended up leaving the gray/green alone and lighted up the grey/violet with neutral grey, that seems to be alot closer to your work. Reply ·
Hi Dusan I'm new to scale modelling and want to brush paint a 1/32 plane. I have no idea yet. Could you tell me the dos and don'ts? P.s. If you speak german, sprich :)
if you pour a little fuel into this engine I'm sure it will start ... so realistic! ако сипаш мало горива у овај мотор сигуран сам да ће се покренути... тако реално!
Revell Germany 1/32nd scale kits are excellent and value for money. My only pet peeve is the colour call out in the instructions, only Revell colours. But think everyone should know the RLM colours and numbers. All I'm waiting for is, 32nd scale Dornier 17/217, 335, think Revell kit be cheaper. Arado 234, Junkers 188, Fu Owl, Me 163, Junker 52, can only imagine the size of that kit. Me 110/410. Well that's my wish list.
No Swastika provided for the tail?I watch these videos where anal modellers worry about the correct numbers of rivets and weld seams etc,yet the GLARING error is the missing Swastika marking which was displayed on all Luftwaffe aircraft?Modellers should boycott buying Luftwaffe kits until this is provided. When I was a kid modeller in the 60s-70s,you were ALWAYS given a Swastika.Which was correct.
Evidently the world wants to pretend that the Swastika never existed. It's an ancient Sun symbol of the Phoenicians. It's been found on ancient pottery from all over the world. Even in cave art. American Indians used it all of the time. Great build of a great, ferocious German fighter.
Dusan I have noticed in your videos you don't scrape paint away from your glue points. How do you get this to work for you? I use Tamiya glue and I don't seem to get a good bond unless I scrape the paint away. whats your trick?
"Dusan".. o.o ti mora da si nas xD ..ja sam iz Beograda, zanima me da li mozda prodajes(ili da li bi) vec gotove komade? Jer ja znam da nema boga da uradim sve ovo, a stvarno zelim da imam jedan Fw 190 ili Bf 109(ili oba). Hvala.
I used model master acrylic rlm 74 and 75 and could just barely see that there were two colors. your's seems to have a nice definition between the two.
Auu ovaj ti je jedan od boljih radova. Radijalni motor savrsen. Svaka cast, inace jedan od mojih omiljenih nemackih lovaca. Nisam pratio dali si 109-ku odradio,? Voleo bih da je vidim ako jesi....
A very nice job; well done! It's a much better model than the Revell 1/32 Spitfire which has some bad fit issues, particularly with the front section of the canopy. I look forward to seeing more of your videos.
Inspirational video. Nice to see it in alternative paintwork to the box. This is so much better. I think I'll do mine in something similar. These are definitely the best value kits on the market at the moment and as you've shown, it is possible to get a beautiful kit straight from the box. Keep up the good work.
Hello Connor, I have many types of tools, paints and kits in my stash... (very big collection)... before I even started with video builds. I am using the Revell tools and paints to show what You can get from it. Right now I am not sponsored by anyone. Thanks for watching! All the best! Dusan.

This video is a masterpiece, the music, the format, faceless presentation along with no talking, truly a masterpiece and workmanship, their is no place for criticism!
Hi Dusan, congratulations on another superb presentation! I am a big fan of Revell and for airbrushing I use Revell Aqua acrylics - which are very good - and under-rated. Can you tell me why (indeed, if) you prefer Revell's enamel paints? Thanks!
+Michael B I agree, the Revell Aqua is very very nice! I am using enamel range becouse I have a big stash, also they are locally available (right now the aqua range is not avaiable). Also I like the fine pigment in enamel paints from Revell. I never had a problem with Revell enamel and Model Master, I had problems with Humbrol and Xtracolor enamel paints... All the best! Dusan.
Brilliant build but I just don’t understand how you glued the parts together after painting them. I always thought that styrene cement won’t stick on a painted surface, am l wrong?
Thanks!! Well I remove little paint by scraping or sanding before glue application. You can get away even without this, but sometimes can be tricky and can be a gummy like problem. All the best! Dusan.
Watching this video minutes after i finished my own Revell 190F-8 1/32 scale. yea i got frustrated trying to attach the engine. but i managed to get a decent spiral and the prop spins nice and somehow the wheels can freely rotate too.... nice build it took me a good 2 days
Brilliant, simply brilliant! But why do Revell not provide (I assume) a swastika decal for the kit? The FW190 comes a very close second to the P51B/C in my list of beautiful ww2 aircraft, and believe me...I am no nazi lover!
For the price {$28 U.S.} Awesome detail and quality. Anyone better? Not that A/C with all the detail and quality. The 801 came out excellent. Fantastic control with the AB. Beautiful final result. Congrats! - Bob
FANTASTIC work Mate !! I watched the vid from start to finish. Excellent airbrushing skills as well. I wish I could break my fear and use enamel paints , but alas I think I will forever use acrylics.
I have just the opposite fear. I've never used acrylics. Dont really know much about them. I've always used enamels in my airbrush. I dont have a lot of experience with an airbrush, and I have a cheap set up. I dont have a pressure regulator valve on my compressor, so it really produces too much psi (around 50). I do ok with it, but I'm still learning.
Judging by overall look of the airbrush (blunt handle end), I presume it is something of the newer Badger/Rewell (Thayer&Chandler) airbrush model. Also, it sounds like You've been working on higher pressure.. Keep a good work.. i puno pozdrava. 😃
Oh.... Forgot to ask in the previous post. Maybe it's just the video, but in the final product i didn't see and of the panel lines. Did they come through...?
How do you like that airbrush? I saw one by the same manufacturer on E-bay at a really low price and am curious if it's any good. It may not be a Paasche or a Badger; but judging by your paint work it looks like it does great work. Any problems with it? Killer FW190!!! Excellent work!
Yes before decaling job a gloss coat and after the decals, apply a light coat off gloss before weathering process. Final coat on this build is matt varnish. Thanks! All the best! Dusan.
I'm right now watching this wonderful video by my FW190 1/24 Airfix and believe me, both models despite the fact that one is 1/24 and the other is 1/32, they keep many similarities and share many parts.......I know it, I Know it. Both are the same airplane but anyway, manufacturers for scale models always take their own "path" to make their models built. In any scale, it is a beautiful aircraft. Kudos for the excellent material.
