Years ago I was considered a decent 9 ball player. I played with Kim Davenport when he was an outstanding player already in his teens living in Modesto, CA. I thought I was pretty good, winning some tournaments, but never good enough to make it to the pros. I'm 79 now, and I remember when I was ten years younger, Bata's age now. Damn! What this guy can still do on a pool table at 69 years old is amazing. Efren is the best I've ever seen...at 69 years old, this man is truly the MASTER!
I don’t think efren will ever understand the real deep impact he’s put on this sport in the past 35 years. Truly the best billiard player ever to play the game
The master has nothing to prove anymore. His games are mostly charitable and his way to encourage the young. Edit: I take that back. He's proving age is not an issue for him or anyone.
I played Efren in 2017; the game was the best three out of five in nine ball. Of course he beat me and I enjoyed it. - - - If you are ever in the Huntsville Alabama area just stop by Steve's Cue and Grill - - - as you walk in you will see a picture of Efren and I on the left just outside the entrance of my cue repair shop - - - I'm there every week, if I'm not in my shop just walk up to the bar and look to your right - - - I am normally setting at the first table having coffee or unsweetened tea - - - if you shoot pool, since I own all the Diamond pool tables in the bar, the table time will be on me!

Kahit paulit ulit nyo pa talunin si Efren bata Reyes mananatili pa rin syang champion at hindi ninyo kayang tumbasan ang ang record na nagawa nya para sa Bansang Pilipinas. At sya lang ang bukod tanging player na hindi arogante.
To me it looked like a good hit, but we only get this one angle on our monitor, so it's hard to tell. But yeah, from here it definitely like a good hit.
