Our 2007 28' North River saltwater fishing machine is powered with reliable twin Mercury 225 outboards, a 15 hp Mercury Pro Kicker, state of the art Lowrance fish finding electronics, and Cannon Downriggers. This rugged but nimble aluminum charter boat, the "Polar Bear", serves as the main office for our Alaskan saltwater charter business, Prince of Wales Sportfishing. This boat has served us amazingly well and has gotten us and our customers back to the dock safely in some of Mother Nature's most challenging conditions. For over two decades we've operated saltwater fishing charters in Southeast Alaska for salmon, halibut, lingcod, and rockfish. All installs and maintenance on our boats in Alaska is completed by the experienced crew at The Bay Company in Craig, Alaska.
