Great use of the goggles. There's a traveling exhibit made by Universal Creative called "Jurassic World: The Exhibition" and they use that same idea; goggles that look out over a plain with dinosaurs here and there. I was impressed by the general idea but never thought I'd see it again. ...and there it is in Nintendo World. I appreciate that the Nintendo version looks out over the actual land below it, not a facsimile.
WOW the themeing and all of the pratical effets really bring the world of the Mario games to life. Everything looks so alive and the land is so ineractive. Every nook and cranny feels so well thought out, they really have gone all out. Can't wait to experience it! Truly a MUST SEE for me and my family.
I know this is a tiny TIIIINY thing so it doesn't really ruin the fantastic view of the area, but I do find it odd how the Warp Pipe lights are so different between the Japan Super Nintendo World and the one in Hollywood. The lights here are just a bunch of crazy colored lights flashing around while the one in japan was more subdued but moved around alongside the pipe (as if you were moving through it). Not a crazy thing but just one of a few small details I notice between the two parks.
Great video, Super Nintendo World looks amazing. I love how there’s audio throughout the area and that makes it for me. The themed area looks amazing at night with the lighting, it’s a shame that it was raining 🌧️ during the night but let’s not let it take away the immersion of the amazing themed area
Magnificent tour of Super Nintendo World. Looks awesome. I have been looking forward to doing the trip for a really long time. I might be able to come this year.
Based on what I see from the queue, I think it’s safe to say we will one day get the yoshi omnimover attraction in Hollywood. Most of the infrastructure looks like it’s already there.
When I went I was disappointed by how small it really is. It's still fun and all, but I wish it had been much bigger. No Zelda themes, no Metroid, no Pokemon. They should've just called it Super Mario World instead. I heard rumors of a DKC area to come later, which would begin to make it a true Super NINTENDO World. Let's hope so.
