Rewatching now that Edvin is two years older, and there's Rojda's Ruset on THIS series tomorrow. Amazing. The football field scene, so improvised, is Oscar-worthy. Magic. This tells a lot about the value of trust and improvisation, and about Edvin's talent.
Female writer and director!! And a talented kind star boy from the beginning!! I stumbled across YR two weeks before season 3 came out. The 1 week between episode 5 and 6 nearly killed me. I’m a 57 yr married female that after watching this series at least 12x , has turned into a 16 yr old prince longing and loving a beautiful boy. I swear I’m living out my unmet needs and healing them by internalizing this epic series. I’m saving a ton of🤞🤞of $ by not seeing a therapist. YR is healing my childhood trauma. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ 👑🎶😇
Such an excellent conversation.. Listening to this creatuin process you can see why this show is so much more successful than others, the techniques and methods used carries such an aliveness... and the trust between writer director actors and production team sounds so fluid, its special to have such cooperation and trust, it allows the acting to be very present and honed so we really feel with them. I have to say, I think it really shows having a woman director and a woman writer.. As much as I wish for a world where these things are not gendered, the intuition and lack of egotism and defensiveness and competativeness is in stark comparison to other projects and we feel it in the cohesive mood of the show, the storytelling is perfect! And wow, Edvin speaks so well for an 18 year old! My god! Hes got such an increadible career ahead of him with this kind of professionalism and character strength at such a young age! Wishing him and the very talented director and writer all the best with season 2!
Love how you put all things in words. esp the (may) role of the gender. I had the same thoughts when Skam took of, and what can I say, Julie was doing the script and the direction, here its two so talented and professional women. Its like they have a special fingerprint and feeling when it comes to show fictional real human beeings.
I totally agree with you....this show was different from others.....im completely in love with this great series...i don't want to talk about the actors...because EDVINS ACTING WAS FOR OSCAR NOMINATION....he lives in side of his character his face is incredibly emotional and his looking very powerful in all his performance...well yeah ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thanks for uploading. They all so heartworming people. I'm very thankful to know more about the making offs, because for me this series is very different than others. So the whole process is so interesting to know more about. Thanks again :)
I use to be a filmmaker and this series and discussion made me want to make films again. I can relate to them and their thoughts on filmmaking. The magic of it. But also the stress and the long days.
@@giaanne4699 no i’m pretty sure her native language is danish. either way i don’t blame her for getting it wrong, cause i’m sure it’s easy to get things mixed up when you’ve hosted different panels all day
During this interview they spoke so much about where the story was headed and how they could still keep the direction even while improvising… but season two doesn’t know where it’s headed lol. I think the actors got to much leeway and kind of looses the read thread. Also I don’t think teenagers would text the way they did this season AT ALL. Also, they reused the same pic of August?! The one Wille drew horns on is the one August sends to Sara and it’s like… why? It doesn’t make sense…
