I wish y’all had started with FMAB cause this show was made before MHA Hiromu Arakawa didn’t copy any characters from MHA actually it’s the other way around if anything Koushiro copied from FMAB Allmight is Armstrong Your mechanic character from from MHA is a carbon copy of Winry.
I can give you the timeline info to avoid you seeing spoilers. Ed and Winry born: 1899 Al born: 1900 Civil War starts: 1901 Extermination begins: 1908 Elrics attempt Human Transmutation: 1910 Series "Begins": 1914
The reason I say "Begins" is just because of all the flashbacks taking place. We jump around from them being super young, to them attempting the transmutation, to him getting his certification, etc. 1914 is basically Present Day.
