You guys got a lot of stuff done today. Demo looks like the most fun part of construction but it's a lot of hard work too. It's great to see Beefcake Construction back in action!
Every time you go over to remodeling, you should bring a trailer of some of your toys. Your boats, motorized vehicles, and stuff being stored in the garage to fill the garadges and sheds here to cut down on moving time.
Recommended definitely get an excavator with a thumb to throw the garbage in the dumpster, the small room in the back would make a good storage/ freezer room
So glad that Beefcake construction is back in business. Can not wait to see how the place looks after you get it all completed. Hope that you do not have to move in to it. I have faith the Brad will get your dream home completed in time. You are going to have to build a new home for Ralph and the other animals as well. Flair is the only person that I know that does house demo in crocs. Banjo needs to come over and help as well. Banjo and Jake need to move it the place once it is completed and the Flair's are moved into their dream home.
I live in Omaha Nebraska but still have yet to see you Flair🤦🏼♂️Def wanna come around and spend a Day in the Life of Flair can even make a video “Spending a day in my life with a local supporter”
I mean not sure if you ever noticed but his vehicle has Iowa plates he doesn’t live in Omaha anymore. It just caught my attention at one point cause he has the black license plates and I knew Nebraska didn’t offer those..😂
You can tear down a load bearing wall but you would need to run a beam to support it held up by post you can sheetrock around the beam its called a bulkhead, although most bulkheads are just faux you can disguise the load bearing beam. Ask Brad he can tell you more of what im saying You can also cover the whole post in trim for a finished look or you could always just run the beam and post with a nice stain for a rustic farm look. But load bearing walls are important removing them eventually your house will crumble from top to bottom And before demo of the wall i’d suggest temporary framing to support the upper But really just check your local codes before any major projects are attempted
Painting the exterior white and the brick also would definitely give this house the modern look you want, and also looks more appealing to any guests driving through your property.
Best way to take the tack strips and staples out is to use a 3ft crow bar. While standing up, just run it on the ground and hit the tack strips. Most of the staples pop out.
You can use a floor scraper to get the staples out. It doesn't take much force just a solid push and it will catch and pull the staples out. Way better that using pliers to pull each individual staple out. Make sure you clean them up before you do anything else because they will cause major havoc.
One good thing about moving onto that property before the new house is ready, is it will give you a chance to figure out your animal enclosures, etc. I imagine that's going to take some work setting up new fencing where there is access to water, etc. I'm looking forward to these videos too... especially when you start moving the animals themselves!
That carpet cutter is definitely cutting, literally today just fed the 10 mares in my back yard 2 compressed bales of alfalfa hay from Atwood’s and cut a 4in gash in my right knee. And at least 7 stitches from my box knife.
It's so ironic that you posted this video today. I re-watched the video where someone (the jelly man) broke into this house today. It's neat how these old houses just kept being added onto and it's interesting to figure out what is original and then envision living in something that size. We are all so spoiled these days to have a lot of square feet for families that are likely half the size of the ones back then. North Americans are spoiled in that regard. Looking forward to watching the progress and the decisions you make while renovating this house. Heather🇨🇦
Flair I have o don’t know how you do all this. There’s one thing no one can call you and that’s lazy. Great content on all platforms. Thanks my brother.
Tips for anyone doing carpet removal in their future, do the padding the same time as the carpet. So roll the pad and carpet up together. Get the rolls most of the way rolled put them in the middle of the room. Rip up tack strips and put the tack strips In the rolls before you tape them. That way all the stables and nails are all covered. Can't lose one or drop one as they catch on the carpet and padding. Also saves you rolling things up double and double the mess after you get the carpet and padding out. I've done a few thousand now...
FLAIR. After my last comment about that being a Team 10 BeefCake House, I couldn't stop thinking about what I personally believe would be awesome. Once you get into your new place and renovate this one, Have an employee move in there, and once a month or once every 2-3-4-5-6 months bring in like 4 of 5 of your subscribers that are over 18 and have them stay in the jelly man house, or "The BeefCake House" for a week and make a bunch of videos of you doing things with them. And to get picked to come there, they can get more entries for every $5 they spend on BeefCake or FLAIR merch. I personally believe it would be a hit.
Definitely a good idea knocking out the wall between the kitchen and dining room and putting in a load bearing beam. Kitchen definitely needed to be bigger 👍💯
this is flair and macy telling you there very boujee without saying it they literally had a move in ready house here but "had" to renovate it to move in 🤣🤣oh flair thats why we love ya
Renovating the jelly man house is the right choice over renting a house because you're going to renovate it anyway, which is cool, then you'll have a decent place for maybe an employee/s to live, Heck, you could start a Team 10 BeefCake House. lol. Or rent it out or whatever you want to do with it. I'm just repeating what I commented on the other video you did with that builder guy. lol. Gotta love Brad.
I just had to cleanout my 3k sqft daycare that was damaged in hurricane ian. Didnt realize how much stuff was really in it. But luckily was able to sell some big stuff. Or wouldve been about anouther dumpster load.
I made a comment that I wouldn't recommend pulling up carpet without a mask and gloves and my husband reminded me you guys eat opossums...so good work 🤣 but really I am impressed with the drive you have renovating and building 4 properties
I’ll give you gentleman this you don’t waste time standing around talking, you discuss what you need to do and do it, no one’s a slacker I tip my hat to you young men. Don’t change and all of you guys will go far in life. Enjoy your videos fellows.
Flair you should stay in your camper that you bought 3 years ago if you still have it. You should by a can am x3 like what Braydon Price have. You should do a mudding video.
Once it's ready you should use it as the beefcake construction headquarters...and office space........ And you should use the skid steer to fill the dumpster
Huge fan of your show of your main channel and just watching and seeing how those are very real wooden cabinet is just about his value as your trentwood it may be a lot of work but those wooden cabinet can bring you just about as much money as your if you send them the cannons and stuff a clean them they could be worth just as bad as a little bit more
