Fun and Games at the Falkirk Wheel! 

You might have heard of the Falkirk Wheel; the big rotating lift in Scotland which takes boats between the Union Canal and the Forth & Clyde Canal. But did you know it can actually be a whole afternoon out as there's also a splash zone (in the shape of Scotland), waterwalkerz boats, mini golf, cafes, bike hire, nature trails and a fab adventure playground. If canal architecture is more your thing, there's also boat rides and a great visitor centre. Even better - many of the things are free! (the car parking, playgrounds, splash zone, visitor centre, etc). You just pay for any activities or food. It's an excellent place for a fun-filled family afternoon!
