You mentioned in the video that the dunes are part of Thar desert. They are not. They are artificial sand dunes where baalu mitti was put in to give it a look of real sand dunes by the hotel. Nevertheless it's a beautiful place and if you only have 1 night then I would recommend staying in the dunes (same cost for a hut in dunes as the room in Khimsar fort), specially if you are a couple looking for a romantic getaway.
