In this video we began targeting the Brusher or White Musselcracker
This video is filmed over a few days and it shows us targeting the brusher and a few smaller species we get around the rocks like the blacktails and shad. After a good few days of targeting the brusher with no luck we saw some cold and rainy weather coming up and decided to go and try because we know that these fish love the rainy and rough conditions.
We put baits out and tried our best without any luck but just as we were about to call it a day Kam made one final cast and it wasn't even 5 minutes and we had a brusher on. It isn't a long fight but these fish are really strong and try to pull you in and around every reef they can get close to so you have to really pull hard to keep them out the rocks.
we really persisted to catch this fish and as you can see we were rewarded.
