I just found this tutorial and have been busy making your templates and I have a lot more to go. I can't wait to make up these templates. They are so easy to make and now I'm not nervous to make and send out. I'm all for Dave making up his own templates. My husband said he might even make up the templates that Dave designs
I really should have waited to watch your videio until later today. I took a break from household chores to watch at 10 a.m. Guess what.....now I don't want to finish my chores...sink full of dishes. dusting, cleaning the bathroom...etc needs to be done but ...I am heading for my craft area to make my templates!

This series is wonderful! Thank you! My system is to watch the video, making note of all sizes on Post-It notes. Then I cut and score all my pieces, labeling the measurements on each piece as I go. I’m using some old construction paper - no need to use up my precious Designer Series Paper. Next day, I’ll watch the video again, pausing to fold and/or attach the pieces. I’m using some old double-stick tape - about an inch for each piece. That way I can have a finished “card” template but still be able to tip back an edge to be sure of measurements when I decide to make a real card. I just completed all the samples from volume 4, and today I watched volume 3. I plan to cut my construction paper tomorrow. I’m hoping to make two of each card from volume 4 - tomorrow or day after. I’ll really be on a roll, then! Thanks to Jackie and Dave!!
I absolutely love this series! I think it was a genius idea to include Dave. He has learned so much in the last couple of months. I would highly recommend this series to beginning stampers, especially, because, as you follow the series, you can see Dave's competence and confidence improve. Of course, experienced stampers get all the benefits of the great fun folds.
Yes, I agree. I love watching these 2 because they remind me a little bit of my husband helping me with christmas/holiday cards back before he got dementia. take care.

TFS! Love the approach of making the template first. I was getting overrun with all the note pages & corresponding templates, so I got some sheet protectors, put the note pages and corresponding sample pieces in the protectors and stood up the protectors in a storage container (with a cardboard backing behind them all). It has been great to get some "management" over it. There are soooo many great papercrafting ideas out there!

Hey Dave and Jackie!! Working on making my shoebox of fun folds and let me just say ~ I LOVE having Dave on board! He makes it so much fun to watch. And Jackie ~ you are an amazing teacher. I love your patience and following along with you and Dave is a pace where little pausing is needed. I figured out that on card #4 to get a perfect border around that angled piece, measure the 1 up and 1 down on the base, but on the layered piece, measure the 1 down but have the 1 up actually be 7/8". The line angles are then parallel. I hope this helps anyone who is "particular" . Again, thank you for the monthly classes! I LOVE THEM!!!! Jennifer

I love the samples and then the cards you make using the template designs. Thank you so much. I never thought to do this before. I have actually watched a few other peoples videos and made a template from their card design. I now have 15 templates--your 12 and 3 additional ones. Thanks again from the east side of Michigan!

We try to repeat them several times so you can start and stop and write them down. We also have the tutorials available if you want them all written out.
Hi Jackie. I watched your videos for the first time last night. The templates are easy to follow. You make everything easy to understand. You & Dave have a lot of fun as well which makes me laugh. Thankyou for doing these tutorials. I have looked at the first 3 Volumes. Lots of writing but the cards are so easy. I can't wait to try them & start my own box of templates.

Jackie and Dave, thank you so very much for these fun videos. I've always shied away from making fun folds because of having to do all the measuring every single time. What a brilliant idea to make the templates and write the measurements right on. I have made all four of these templates and can't wait to use my Apple Harvest set with at least one of them. Now I need to back track and find your other two videos. I had so much fun making the templates. If my daughter ever gives up her SU demoing I will choose you for my SU demo person. HUGS.
How I am loving this series of templates, Jackie and Dave! I have sent several already and the senior ladies in my Craft Class have also followed the templates to make cards we have sent out in a group. I have marked the measurements on each piece on the templates as you have, and let each lady pick out the one she liked. They told me the measurement they needed for each piece and I cut it for them. They took it from there and did not need any more help!! They were so excited they did not need my help at all - just did what your template showed.!Thank you for giving them a lovely independent success!!
This is my first time watching a video of yours and not only is it very informative and easy to follow, but I absolutely LOVE that you have your husband making the card! I’m brand new to card making and it definitely helps me feel like even I can make these cards!

Wow I have just started watching these and making the templates. They are amazing thankyou so much. I am going to watch all your videos and make them all! It was a joy to come along. Certain designs are definitely a bit more advanced. But all of them are lovely and all of them are so much easier to make with the templates. And they all look just lovely with their respective bit of oomph.

Card No4: if you cut the DSP at 7/8 instead of 1 inch, the angle would be more matching 😉 but as I said a few days before, I really love your new card template series and looking forward to watch the next on 🥰😍❤️
I made one template with some one sided Stampin’ Up paper from 2006 (it has the date on it!) After I made the template I liked the colors so much, I ended up making more real cards out of the paper. One color almost matches Parakeet Party! The paper has big circles inside squares of bright colors. Thanks for encouraging me to make the templates! It ended up getting me SO many amazing cards. Friends have LOVED them.
