It's funny looking back at how low budget this show was. But when I was like 11 in 1989 I loved it. Although I didn't have cable at the time so it was shows like this or nothing. It's a trip back in time for sure. Remember how cool it was at the thought of winning your own TV for your bedroom?? Lmao feels like a million years ago.
A "Big Win" in this episode, for Brook and Melissa! BTW, Brook, if "Wheel of Fortune," and "Fun House," were not enough, when you played "Wheel of Schmutz," "The Price is Right," was also another one of my favorite game shows, where we lost the world greatest game show emcee, Bob Barker!
I remember watching this before going to kindergarten. JD dropping those tokens was so satisfying, to me! Watching this now, it's like Legends of the Hidden Temple meets Double Dare.
Brook and Melissa had 220 points because they had 170 points before J.D. counted the blue coins and the computer stalled when the first 2 coins were deposited, but that error did not affect the outcome of the game because they had plenty more blue coins that would have declared them champions anyway.
