This warm up game is meant to help players get comfortable with using body fakes and keep control of the ball while having some fun before the training gets going.
Phase 1 - Is meant to be played like tag and to introduce players into using the body fakes without the pressure of keeping the ball.
Phase 2 - Is meant to test players by having to catch the other while keeping up with the ball. Having a sense of direction with the touch and making every touch intentional to where they are trying to go. Also getting comfortable with quick change of direction with the ball.
Phase 3 - Having one player with the ball is more game realistic so having one player focusing on just catching the other tests the player with the ball to make intentional touches to get away. Also helps the tagger get comfortable with quick change in direction as all players need to be doing throughout the pitch.
This game is meant for players to have some fun before getting into the session and to help players become more comfortable with teammates.
